And then there's me, Desolate with so much need for privacy. I need distance from loved ones, i demand space from intimacy. I cannot offer warm bread or enthusiastic tours of my city, I could hum a shaqeel song or crack a joke that's witty. And on the rare days, That i get along with the god , i could toss around a prayer but that too all muffled and odd. On most days- i smoke half cigarettes and read urdu stories. I stand in my balcony and gaze at the windows across all storey's I bleed words and waves imaginary tales.
