Russ, thank you for sharing with us. I enjoy your videos so much. I truly wish I lived close to you, I would love to help you with packing your boxes. You are such an amazing person and such a joy to know. Thank you for all you do for us!!
Hello Russ!! Sometimes you just need to clear the mind of a heavy burden. This was your moment to bring your sister into the fold and share your thoughts, feelings and love for her. Usually they say when you speak of the departed or just thinking of them, it’s because they are in need of prayers. It was a beautiful story about the journey and the love you have for your sister and family.
Russ, those colors look beautiful together. I know what you felt with your sister, I said the exact same words to my Father more than 30 years ago. I cried with you too. Time helps, but does not take away all. It does help to revisit it from time to time. My love goes out to you and so do my prayers.
Hi Russ, hope you, Kevin, and the fur babies are doing well. Love the yarn colors you got from Herrschners. So sorry about your sister. Sending Hugs! 🧶🫂
Hi Russ I am sorry to hear about your sisters passing, the hard time you're going through. The yarn is beautiful and it's nice of you to make a blanket for your mom.
Thank you for sharing your sister's story, Russ. It took a lot out of you to do this, but I have found that talking about difficult situations, in retrospect, can help one to relieve some of the lingering feelings that won't go away. It was beautiful that you were able to have that final conversation with her and she was at peace and able to rest afterwards. You always promise us that we will never know what to expect in any video and you delivered on that promise today. That Carmine colour has had my eye since you showed it a few days ago. Maybe you could make some "all Carmine" blocks of the same size as the 4-colour blocks that you plan to make. You could have a combination of 1-colour and 4-colour blocks for the your final layout. 💡
Hi Russ, don't argue with Mama. Make her a blanket😂. I love those colors you have chosen. I am so sorry for the loss of your sister. I had tears in my eyes. But be grateful you got to have that moment with your sister. My dad (who was my world) passed in Sept 2022, and I cry every day because I miss him so much. Keep up the great work. I love your channel. Hugs and love to you and Kevin
Love ya Russ! Thank you for sharing your story but know she is with you. She was happy that you were there with her. Love the yarn colors your mother is going to love it. It's overcast here today and a bit rainy.
Russ, thanks for talking about your sister. She is gone, but not suffering any more. And I know how you feel when I lost my dad and mom, but I am still thinking of them during the good times. So I am glad you are able to talk and share about your sister. It's okay to "cry". I love you.Sheree from Ohio.
Thank you for sharing your story, I've lost sisters, it's really difficult sometimes. 🫶 I absolutely love the colors of that afghan yarn, that's going to be beautiful ✨️.
I'm so sorry for your loss Russ. I lost my dad this month and my mom in 2015. Sometimes you can feel so lonely and lost, but always remember, you are not alone, you are loved and we are here to listen. Hope we can be there for you, like you always make us feel better.❤

Hi Russ I'm in tears here with you hearing about your sister, it must have been and still is such a hard emotional time, so thankyou for sharing it with us. Take care 💝
We got you buddy. You are healing your heart. Sometimes those feelings just come out. It's okay. We've all been there and understand. ❤ It takes time and love to heal a broken heart. Untill then, we've got your back. 🤟
I'm so sorry about all you and your family went through with your sister. I can't even imagine. Big hugs to everyone. Im really hoping i can afford one of the count down boxes- they sound fabulous and I saw Fiver Spider's last year and it was amazing!!! That blanket for your mom is going to be gorgeous 😍
I think those colors would be spectacular in a blanket . I'm sorry you've gone through so much. I don't know how people find time to work when everything is going so fast. Hugs, trying to help family is so stressful and emotional. I hope you take care of you, Russ. I gotta go lay down before I fall down I am so tired.
Hi Russ from the cold rainy UK sitting knitting a hat for my sister, it brought tears to my eyes hearing about your sister passing, I just can't imagine not having my sis around bless your heart, love the colours of yarn you chose they will make a beautiful blanket for your mum look after yourself love Julie xxxx
Hi Russ, I am so sorry for the loss of your sister, please do not apologise for crying cause you loved your sister and that is a release of the pain of the moment. We care and are willing to listen while you talk about your loss, we are here for you. What are friends for? Love all your yarn talk. Also love the color of the yarn you are working with. Yes yarn is more expensive but so is everything else. How much are your christmas boxes going to be? Your friend always.
Hi Russ,it just fell in my cart lol 😆 😆 those colours will make an amazing blanket. It’s good to talk about losing someone close to us.My dad passed away last year from bladder cancer and it wasn’t easy…he passed peacefully at the Hospice with all of us there.Oh wow your Christmas boxes sound like they’ll be spectacular!Take care and sending hugs 🫂😊🧶❤️
Sometimes it just sneaks up on you... My father passed 8 years ago, but when his birthday came up last month, I just about had a complete meltdown driving to work. And it literally came out of nowhere. Take care. 🐞
If I remember correctly, the 5 oz. balls of afghan yarn came out about a year to a year and a half ago. I can't believe they're already clearancing them out. Have a great day. 🐞
they aren't they just only have a few colors in the bag of 3. I don't think they will, I was referring to I hope they dont is all. I'm sorry if I got confusing on the video.
@@itsrainingyarn I don't know where they're keeping those suckers. It seems like when I'm snooping around Herrschners that there are less and less colors available. I sure hope you're right!
I’m sorry to hear about your sister. We found out in October of 2020 that my husband had cancer by January of 2021 he was gone and then I lost my mom 7 months later. It is so hard losing loved ones.
Oh boy Russ, forgive me, but I thought something dreadful happened, like a huge yarn barf or tangled sken!!!! Don't scare me like that! 😄You are just too funny 😄"It fell in my cart" hilarious 🤣🤣🤣🤣 famous words of a yarn fellow addict. "My name is Sandy and I am a yarn addict" :D :D :D but on a serious note, that was hard and sad. so sorry. my dad passed two years ago. he had dementia for 15 years and Parkinsons, but consequences of Corona virus got him. And he was infected in a hospital, recovering from hip replacement, been there already for a month -almost to be released. New influx of corona patients came to the hospital and in 2-3 days whole orthopedic department was infected, staff and patients. so yeah. sad. big hug Russ, huge big hug.
How about making your mom a side walk blanket that urban yarn has go over there and check it out there squares too your mom might like it it’s very different
dont feel sorry for feeling grief I lost my mum and husband same month 4 years ago and then my sister in law before that it was hard time and still catches you years later
my grandma and a lady across the street from us taught me to crochet my mom's friend at work taught me to knit . she was driving I was in the backseat she told me what to do I did it lol. it was just basic knitting nothing fancy. I've been doing it 45 years lol
Hi Russ, I was watching Thryss open up your Christmas in July. At the end it flashed that you were doing a Halloween countdown as well. Can you tell me how much it will be. I need to save up.
Russ, what is the name of Michelle's channel. I would like to watch the live you did with her and subscribe to her channel if I haven't all ready. Thanks
Question: How do I go about of getting a Christmas count-down box? For I never had order anything on line or through anything on my computer. Because I don't some things. Sheree from Ohio.
go to etsy.com make yourself an account it's free. then go to my store favorite my store so when I put something up for sale you can buy it. it will give you the total cost of item plus shipping plus taxes.
How much do you think you're going to charge for the boxes? I know the last ones were $150 but these are going to be much bigger. I just want the know so I can put my overtime check in savings. Thank you.
