The film Downfall was a major German film on Hitler, it won many awards and everything. A subtitled copy was released in the US where it sold quite well for a foreign film. It's a shame you haven't heard of it before. It is one of the best films on the end of WWII and the best depiction of Hitler ever!
I followed the breadcrumb from Hitler is Banned from Xbox live, found the original author, and to this parody (via video responses). This one got the classic idiosyncrasies of Downfall parodies - dialogue length doesn't match text length at all!
Basically Hitler found out that backup isn't coming so he yells at his generals that they suck pretty much and that he can do it, give or take. By the end of his rant, he says all hope is lost and they are screwed. Good movie too.
yeah, that's it. he says "except for keitel, jodl, krebs, burgdorf, everyone else get out". the part about stalin is about how he should have made a major "cleanup" of his top generals, just like stalin did. love that movie.^^ must've watched at least 20 times...
It's in the film Downfall, Hitlers last days. The whole thing is in a bunker beneath Berlin. At the beginning they are talking about the russian troops, where they are attacking from etc... Then hitler says that when Steiner will be attacking, then will be everything OK. Then they are telling hitler that, Steiner couldnt find enoguh troops for an attack. Then he sends out of the room everybody but a few man.
There was actually a deleted scene at the end of this clip. Hitler takes out his favorite cane, demands that Jodl bend over the desk, and he gives him "six of the best".
I think the English version is called the Downfall. Hitler moved into his underground bunker in Berlin in the last weeks of the war in Europe. He was delusional. In this scene, he learns that armies which he had expected would save Germany had been destroyed months ago. At 3:27, he says "der Krieg ist ferlorn" - the war is lost. His staff had been afraid to tell him about the losses.
the blue and white are the colors of the Bavarian (Bayerisch) flag dude- nothing to do with white propellers or the sky. BMW stands for Bayerische Motoren Werke. They made planes as well as just engines in the Great War as well as WWII. They first branched out to motorcycles after being forbidden to make more engines after the Armistice in the Great War. They started making cars a few years later. Then in the beginning of WWII they started making planes again for the Luftwaffe.
It does have a lack of torque, true... But a whole car togheter is great... The chasis, steering, handling, brakes, high revs.... Everything is great, i admit, and i'm defenetly not a honda fan boy, but i did drive it, and i'm very pleased... Not a drag car, but in terms of passion is great!!!
That happened in Dec 1944 - Jan 1945. Hitler and his staff moved into the bunker in April (or maybe late March) of 1945. He's not talking about a specific battle. He realizes that his armies are gone and therefore the war in general is lost. The final skirmishes in Berlin were fought by old men and the Hitler Youth. I don't know what other losses his staff lied about, but the Battle of the Bulge was a major one.
I said a DODGE little rice rocketeer. In the world of automobiles the saying goes, "There is no replacement for displacement." I would love to see your 350z own my SRT 8.
They are considered as good and solid cars with a good price-performance ratio - even if they don't look breathtaking=). By the way, Volkswagen (VW) is the "parent company" from many other car companies like Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini, Seat etc.
If he wanted to save the Germans from their misery brought on by WW I, he would have stopped after reviving the economy. I don't think attempting to exterminate Judaism in Europe has anything to do with saving Germans. Nor did conquering and turning the rest of the continent into "Fortress Europa"
