This is an orchestral cover of Gotye's track entitled "Somebody That I Used to Know" off of his album "Making Mirrors". Shot on location in San Jose, CA and Dunfermline, Fife (UK).

This really puts depth into the chord progression used in orchestra form. I love the passing tones added on the piano and the strings (I think I heard some brass) and the chimes added with the piano gives it that rain drop effect. Dropping all but the piano for the female part is perfect because it helps highlight the sadness, and the build helps bring us into the chorus. This is an awesome cover.

you didn't need to mention that you're heterosexual. Love can be non romantic/sexual. But guess people are so superficial nowadays they'll call you gay for loving someone of your same gender in a deeper, non sexual way which they can't understand.

wow, heart dropping. Alot of the people my age of this generation dont take the time to reconize and apreciate this amazing music. as a precussionest i fully liked the mallet prec. the timpani was amazing during the third verse. as a young musicion i fully look up to this peice as an amazing orchestral influence.
