This songs sings to me for some reason. Im gay, and Im also a devout Christian. I know my reality as per the Bible, and what could happen if I act upon my urges. My prayers, fasts and my loyalty to the Almighty won't ever come close to saving me even once if i give into this thing of mine. Knowing that even if I get married to a woman and even have children, the fact that I would never love her back the way she might love me and for me she would always just be an "other", while for her I might become her whole world is a heartbreaking realisation. I'd keep struggling, I'd fight till my last breath, just so that I could see those pearly gates, and question the Lord as to why he made me this way, to feel nothing but pain throughout the time I came to know about myself. One day, someday I'll get there...

I wouldn’t listen to those who say the same scriptures repeatedly but fail to fully understand how you feel and think everyday. To my understanding Christ saves whomever puts faith in him, just praying for forgiveness doesn’t make you Christian same as being gay doesn’t make you unable to be a Christian. You must remember why Jesus died in the first place..Too pay for all of our sins regardless of the specifics every sin is equal to the other in the Bible, and no it’s not our place to put our personal judgement onto others and more importantly ourselves. If you truly believe then your fate is already sealed

Tbh if everyone has reached the same conclusion there's a good chance that it's the thing they have in common that's the problem (you) I don't say that to be mean, just a wake up call to take accountability for yourself and your behaviors. It'll be painful at first but it's the most freeing thing in the world

@@TTVDonut i flirted with another boy and was disloyal to my now ex boyfriend, and i have never regretted anything more in my entire life. he was my happiness, and somehow i found a way to ruin our special bond. at the time i didn't see it as bad or see it as wrong but i realised it and now all i can do is sit back and watch what ive caused unravell into him dissapearing from my life and moving on to another girl. some people believe i cant feel sorry since i caused our break up, but more than anything i feel sorry and full of guilt, not one day goes by where i dont think about him, and how if i could i would go back in time to change my actions and give that boy the world and more. im so deeply truley in love with him, but my actions caused us to fall apart. i miss him...
