Chord symbol “ + “ means an augmented chord. Chord formula is : 1, 3, #5. So, the notes of a D+ (augmented) is D, F#, A#. Hope that this helps.

Hello, Andrea, I forgot to mention that the augmented chord tones/notes/intervals are equidistant from each other. There is a major 3rd interval between the 1st, 3rd and the #5 so you can play the augmented chord from any of the intervals and it remains the same chord, just a different inversion. So, an F# augmented is an inversion of D augmented and likewise so is the A#. They all contain the same notes. Sorry, it was just an extra piece of information in case you wanted to experiment. You may already know that you can move a diminished chord up and down the fretboard in minor 3rds’ well now you can move an augmented chord up and down the fretboard in major 3rds’. Good luck.
