My father-in law was 68 when he was diagnosed with cancer right before Christmas. We had 19 people with him on Christmas morning to say goodbye and by the 15th of January, he had died and we were wishing that he was still here so we could say goodbye.

All the internet community knows that we have seen so many memories with the family growing up and learning so many things. All the trips that were truly adventures and even making friends everywhere you go. Houston met some great people because of Daniel. The pond guy and Jimmy Houston for just a couple. Wesley has had a great mentor with lots of patience shown as he has grown into an adult. Daniel has been there for Emily whole heartedly every step of the way. He is so proud of each one of the children for which they should be so grateful.

I think the kids couldn't find the words because the feelings got too overwhelming. Think of the kids you know who have parents with issues like alcoholism or are just not good parents. You will probably see those kids struggle their entire lives because they are reaping the results of how they were raised. Your Mom and Dad have given you the priceless gift of teaching how to become proper adults,and just like the bad parents teachings had bad consequences,even when the parents are gone, so your parents teachings will have benefits for you. All of your life , even when they are gone . Don’t wait till it’s too late to tell them how valuable they are to you!
