This actually happened to me once. I was playing as my fox that had a flower petal necklace on (I loved those items) and this other fox, A COMPLETE STRANGER, came up to me and said, “You should change your outfit” and “flower petals cut threw your head when you sit” and I said, “So? I like this outfit. You can’t tell me what I can and cannot wear.” They just kept bugging me and harassing me about how I looked and it kinda hurt my feelings. I was proud of that outfit so hearing someone say that about me made me feel bad. I didn’t care though. If people don’t like me, who cares? I don’t care if people hate me or not. Sad to hear this happened to someone else, epecially that someone being you because your outfits for your animals are so amazing. I wish we didn’t have so much bullying nowadays :( I miss old aj sm
I remember once someone told me to stop dressing like a guy because I'm a girl. Some people have no logic or are purely rude and they shouldn't be taken in serious. Dress and be whatever you want 💙
Yeah, so I’m a girl aaaaand I dressed like a boy in a rp, after the host gotta go I changed to my main (that looks like a girl) and someone told me to dress like my gender in role plays. I was kind of angry because I randomly choose a gender (boy or girl) to dress as in role plays. I still do this. This has happened 2 times to me, this changed my style a bit.

so i have a quick storytime so basically when i was 10 i was in aj i had a best friend. soon she got an aj boyfriend [lets ignore the fact that its wrong] and everything was fine. soon after i noticed he had 2 siblings, but still i brushed it off. then after a few weeks i started noticing that they were being extremely rude to me, they were locking me out of their den, leaving the game whenever i just said a simple 'hello', being harsh and cursing at me for little to no reason. after a while [a month or two] i completely lost it because one of the ''siblings'' unfriended me while saying extremely awful stuff to a 10 year old trying to have fun. he was being manipulative and just gross. soon after the sister felt bad and told me that she felt sorry for me and friended me back, but then my friend [the girlfriend of one of the brothers] told me that they have been acting like this for so long just because i have gotten myself in a relationship with the sister's crush. at that point i completely lost it so i made a fake brother to be in a relationship with the sister so she would stop bugging me, but she and her brothers didnt. so i basically created myself an escape till this ended. soon after i told the sister isaac [the fake brother] was quitting though because i was tired of acting. now ive unfriended everyone and quit animal jam. i told this because i have now realized that it was one person all along, no i do not have any proof due to them being scared of talking to me and even accepting my buddy request. but i have realized that even though they have admitted multiple times of being 14 years old, i highly believe they were the same age as me, which honestly makes it even worse. could you make an awareness video on animal jam manipulative people?
@@lodgimoss yeah it is, and me being 10 didnt really help as i was a child and had difficulty with cutting bad people off. but its fine, i have way better friends and an awesome boyfriend now
Everyone has their unique style, no one has the right to tell you or anyone that you need to dress cooler. You aren’t going to impress anyone or them, just be you and that’s all that matters in animal jam. I like the art, it is really cute!
same thing, the casual arcitc wolf with spiked collar and rocker hair told me to dress better, i normally just wear my small light blue tiara, blue forest gauntlets, and rim blue firefly and at that time it honestly really hurt how cruel people can be.
One of the biggest reasons I play Animal Jam is for outfit design and being creative and jammers should do that too instead of being "cool" like everyone else
Also Leamon theres another weird glitch going around I like to call " The phantom gifter " its basically when random item(s) show up in your inventory- For example, yesterday I realized I have 2 speckled drapes cause the same day I only had one and was using them in a den- and I never even traded for speckled drapes. And its in the exact same color. I know a lot of topics in animal jam that havent been brought to light aaa

Tbh, I always wanted forest and blackout and an Arctic wolf to look “cool” but I realize I don’t like to look edgy as much as I like make “fancy looks” with a variety of cute animals on the game. My buddy, “cloudofdust,” has super rare stuff, but she chooses to wear non rare items
It's quite sad really 🙁 I had a similar experience once where I was too scared to change back to my usual outfit just in case this certain jammer saw me... I wonder what happened to them 🤔

Maybe they thought your look didn't look Rare, but your look is unique in its own special way! 💞 no one's Main look needs Super good rares in their main look. Jammers can make them the way THEY want to make it and no one else is in control just you! 💕💞
Somebody was making fun of my look and said things like, pfft you look like you randomized your look, and, let me guess your a kid that thinks your character is cool, my character does not really have any rares, it’s just some member forest boots, rainbow spring tail, ancient dragon scarf, and a head band that is the one like queen wolf aj, he kept saying more things like, wow your really flexing those forest boots. I had them on all time since me, my sister, and one of my closest buddy’s had them. Then my sister brought a buddy who never even talks to her now and he stood up for me. Then we just started begging aj for dino jam the sudden- also there is a lot of drama going on with my buddy’s so sorry if I kinda made the one who stood up for me sound a bit rude, he is just a really rude person now and I’m kinda venting I just noticed, sorry if I wasted whoever is reading this time 😞
Two or three years ago someone on Animal Jam did the same for me except they judged my art. At that time I was like 9 or 10 years old and it really upset me so I reported the user and left. I don’t know right now if the player was just trying to help me or whatever
Dressing on Animal Jam, and what's cool or not Is a super bias thing. Like some people might think the Princess Necklace Is super cool, some people think Racoons Tail Is super cool. The point Is someone cant tell anyone what's the coolest because Its bias. Honestly I like silly and cute stuff. :3

Yeaaa these things can happen in real life. Society just simply labels who would be considered "beautiful/cool" and "unattractive/not" cool by their standards of what it is to be "cool/beautiful". It is such a disappointing matter and I know in-game it is a bit different, but I think it can affect them in a way of feeling bad and have the thought process that "Oh I must be better than them or be exactly like them to fit in." And it is such an unhealthy thought but being yourself is such a beautiful characteristic you can develop as a human being.
So today I looked at the Animal Jam news and apparently I found out that Scottish Folds are coming to Animal Jam I'm not mad I'm just upset that they keep adding more domesticated animals like when are we going to stop

Well I mean people never wanna go to my art shop bc I’m a fennec with a heart eyepatch, rare heart warmers, key necklace, mostly stuff instore, I mean I collect aj melody’s so I traded my ethereal wings for three melody’s candy carol, desert jewel, and forgot the last one lol,then one of my old buddy’s that I invited to a party to celebrate, she SCREAMED at me, she said “WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU? DO U HAVE ANY CLUE HOW RARE THAT IS COMPARED TO THAT MELODY TRASH!?” Then as I was close to tears I told her “my dream is to collect all the melody’s in ajpw, besides, the wings don’t look good on me.” As I’m wearing my main look wings flame tipped wings, then she told me “WHO CARES IF ITS UR DREAM? U COULD HAVE TRADED IT FOR A SPIKE! This was when those wings were rare, later I unbuddyd her crying while telling my buddy that supported me since my old bff disappeared for some strange reason. She was proud of me, for doing the right thing, I mean one of the last three melody’s I need to have all in aj (tree house tune) I GAVE to her ages ago bc it’s one of her two dream melody’s, I still ask her sometimes if she still likes the melody, and she does :) I mean I “had” TWO in the moonlight so TRADED one of my cliffside choruses for grandquiolet garden, and I was ok with it, rares honestly don’t matter, I mean minty kookie gave someone a mp the other day then they moaned saying “I only want nutcracker boots :’(“ jokes on them they could have had art by a famous jammer.

Over the years I collected, quite a lot of clothing yet all I ever dress my animal in the neckless/colliers, bows, the odd hat, ring, the occasional tail ring thing lol or bracelet. Only one per animal though, rather than a full on outfit XD
Everyone has their own opinion. And if in your opinion you don’t like how something looks keep it to yourself. Because honestly words can hurt a lot more then they are intentionally supposed to.
Wow this should be amusing but its not :( I'm sorry that they said this. This kinda also reminds me of how some people religions are being forced out, but luckily animal jam is just a game.
Something that happened to me about a two or three years ago: I was on animal jam, getting into doing commissions for people. I wasn't that good at art back then, so it was kinda rare that I got one. Once someone traded me and I thought that I was about to get a commission from a very nice and cool person. (They looked really cool.) So they traded me and I was super exited. I asked them If they want a commission and they asked for me to show them one of my masterpieces. So I added it. I never was expecting what they were going to say. They said straight up to my face, "Your art is trash. You should stop doing art." My heart BROKE. I stopped the trade and left the game. I got on every now and then, not everyday like I usually did. I didn't play for those years until now. I started playing aj again for a couple days now, and luckily I've found a better not as toxic community. That's a story that makes me sad to this day.
Yea I was always kinda sad because I wasn't like them I had an epic spiked collar and nutcracker boots but I just didn't think wearing them made me cool like them. So I tried wearing girly items and it felt more like me. In real life I don't even like girly things, it just kind of came to me that I didn't want to wear what everyone else did on animal jam Whether or not your a cool arctic wolf at the arctic wolf cave, doing the sleep emote or a new jammer with round glasses, your still just as great either way :)
