That creature’s being revealed almost had me fooled since that woman who lived in her apartment had no idea who the man that seemed to be an unexpectedly visitor really is! By the time she let ‘him’ in, it was already too late! Wow, what an unexpected ‘surprise’! That shapeshifter effect was just amazing!
Creepy effects! The actor did great, even when just standing there staring.....he was really scary! A shapeshifting demon, wow. It looked believable at all times...& I am so glad you actually showed most of the demon. Many short-horrors don't show anything but *blurs* or flashes. Good work on this. Like others here, I'd be excited to see a longer version of it.
2:00 "Can I have a look anyway?" Um, NO! Never let someone in who says things like that! Whether they be human or......otherwise, say No! At least she was smart there. Now, back to the film....:)
@@TimCollinsATL I currently use a Canon C100 mkii. It's a little old at this point but you can still get a decent image from it. I thought about upgrading but moving forward for any larger projects I plan to just focus on writing/directing, so I'll probably just leave the camera up to whoever was DP, or do a rental or something. For lenses I have a bunch of canon prime photography lenses including a 24mm, 50mm, and 85mm usm, and also a 24-105mm stm zoom lens. I'm curious what you use? Whatever it was looked good in low light, like at the end of Blackout
