Honestly, this is golden content, golden content creator too. He indirectly did a give away, while making content to make him money too. Honestly genius.
I legitimately feel bad for this, even though it’s his fault Edit: yeah cool he’s rich, but losing 500 still sucks (99% of these people in the comments are dumb, and have been repeating the same thing as if it hasn’t been specified enough)
Speed is honestly really smart and his audience isn’t smart enough to catch on the fake/scripted parts of his stream. He plays dumb a lot but he knows exactly what he’s doing. I love his streams and think he’s really funny, but he’s smart with the planning with stuff like this.
Yeah he used a previously used code on purpose to make it look like he lost $500 but there is atleast a 3/4 second latency on streams so nobody could've stolen that code if it was real
@@orangethew he did make a good point in this video, streams have latency, and the speed at which he typed the last letter and clicked on redeem is shorter than the typical stream delay which probably is about 5 seconds
y’all gotta be dumb or 12 he used it before the stream even started if it was real streams are delayed so it wouldn’t even be possible unless some dude just guessed the last numbers or letters
24k people in his stream, there's surely somebody who had the time to press a random letter, cuz it took him 5 seconds to put the last letter X@@mza4739
@@mza4739i think it depends on the streamer. I saw streams where it didnt had much delay. And there was a lot of viewers so i wouldn't be surprised if someone was lucky enough to put random numbers/letters and guess it.
@@JONES99679 Because this dude is smart, he won't just show a $500 PSN gift code that he wants to redeem to thousands of people, he probably already redeemed it before his stream. Most of the stuff and reactions he does during stream is purely for entertainment and nothing else. Also, if this was real, how can someone predict Speed's code even though streams are delayed by at least 10 seconds? That's inherently impossible. Everything he does or reacts to, he does it for jokes and laughter for his viewers to enjoy.
@@panksyo.official6818 it literally said this code has been used so obviously it is real, someone just looked at his stream and used it before Speed submitted it, dummy
that's just his version of giveaway. he's not that dumb to naively redeems code while streaming. he was acting angry to the streams. therefore it's entertaining the audience. he's a genius.
If thats the case he reminds me of an apprentice I had, quite a while ago,you may know him as "obito uchiha" Although some times I think he was, actually an idiot, after all ,he never won rock, paper, scissors, since rock was all he knew
@@Akinator0I'm sorry but I forgot the part, we're I was supposed to care And just so you don't cause a big tantrum on your parents, I'll fix it for you🙃 Are you happy now lil twinkle twinkle?
@@SantigamingYTSanti Ik i do kinda feel bad because he is wasting lots of money and people are stealing it and I am also gonna edit the comment so I can remove the emoji
People falling for this obviously set up joke. RU-vid has at minimum, a 3 second stream delay. There is no way somebody else could have typed in the last letter and redeemed it in those 3 seconds. By the time the viewer seen the last character of the code, speed would have already redeemed it.
He had 25k people watching. If 50 of them decided to try it and put everything correct but guessed the last 3 characters it's not that crazy to think someone would have got it. And if, cause im not 100% sure, all psn cards use the same sequence of number letter number order then it would be even easier so long as you know what your doing. And again. 25k watching. Alot of his fans are troll types because that's what speed attracts. Its not that surprising.
@@Handro_ nah thats actually way luckier than ur realizing. theres three characters left a-z and 0-9. thats 36 possible entries for each character and 36^3 or roughly 50k possible combinations for the last 3. it would be possible if every person on his stream tried it twice. also assuming it’s the same number/letter order every time the last three would be letter-number-letter. this would be 10*26^2 possibilities or 6760. so thats a lot more believable, but still an enormous amount. over 25% of his stream would need to be guessing lol. but im stupid asl so my math could be wrong idk lmao
@@Handro_ that still doesn't make it possible. rewatch the video, factoring in the delay, which is at minimum, 3 seconds (most likely longer), there is no way someone would guess the last 4 digits before speed inputs it. he enters his last 3/4 digits in around 3 seconds. even if a million people were watching, there is a 99.99% chance they would be unsuccessful in redeeming it b4 speed, thus proving it's most likely faked by speed.
@@cowgomoo444 yeah but factoring in the stream delay, it makes it 99.99% impossible for a person to guess the code. by the time the viewer saw or guessed the last 4 digits, speed would have already clicked the redeem button.
It's actually impossible for that to happen unless he was really really slow due to the delay of live streams. He would have had to leave the entire code up on the screen without redeeming it for like 10+ seconds for someone to get the full code and hit redeem before him.
They could've been right there on their ps5 watchin the stream from their phone, typing the code as he was. After he enters it, he does something else for a brief second. It's staged. He knew what he was doing.
what most likely happened is most cards are generated with different beginning and then ending of codes to keep the most optimization for a card. for example ABC-12 ACB-12 BCA-12 ABC-13 they do this with debit cards and most redeemables, so its possible somebody guessed it based off the first little bit he put in. that's what my guess is
great theory except for the fact it makes a lot less sense than speed used an already used card or he intentionally did it because he is rich and it makes for a very funny joke
How would a code get stolen? Your typing it in first... even a livestream has a bit of delay. Not to mention there not going to guess the code so I am not sure if this was a joke or this was serious
I wonder how much people thought this was real lol you can't 😭 submit a code that fast even if you are on PC the html has to scan it on PC which causes it to take longer the consoles uses the PSN server the code was far redeemed before he even typed it
@@dungcoveredpeasant1905 when you redeem a code on the system you are using a playstation OS which is a operating system its not under googles protection etc butttt if we redeem a code on html/javascript which is google code for sites the html is the secure scanner for the code to see if its valid it takes longer than the system OS since it has more code to go through try it for yourself redeem a code on console and compare it to your pc time
He shouldn't be surprised. The chat is pretty much faster than him. For a guy named "Speed", he should've saw that coming. Then again, this is IShowSpeed after all
1 thing I’ve learned about the internet they glorify dumbness but if we keepin it a buck all these ppl that act dumb really smart its all for the internet name a person who is smart and dont act dumb with this type of consistent clout… ill wait
