I played a little bit of Dreams when it came out and couldn't figure out the controls or how to work it and when I saw all the music options I was just waiting to see what Musicians did with it. For anyone who don't know Dreams is basically a Game Engine and then you can share the games, art, music, etc. And then everyone else can download it and play it, you can also remix what someone else made it turned into Shrek and Memes real fast but that was at the start of might be awesome now.

I used to do this on Little Big Planet 2 and 3. had so many midi versions of metal songs I created. I even have one videos on my youtube channel you can see it. video from 3 years ago. it's titled "Monuments - I The Creator (LBP)" it was a work in progress, I never got around to finishing it and moved on from that game.

I used Dreams to make a prog rock song for my orchestra class's final project in my freshman year of high school. Unfortunately, I lost access to my PS account (and Dreams with it, which is unironically the best game ever made 😩), but thankfully I still have a low-quality recording of the song saved on my phone. So seeing this makes me FAR more nostalgic than it should. :D

Dreams is the best creative tool ever made for polymaths, and Sony dumped it... I'm still sad months after it happened. It's my favorite thing that Sony has ever created, and it didn't take off AT ALL... Feels like software that came out 20 years early. People are just too damn stupid these days. Dreams is what happens if a modular synth nerd makes programming with CV voltages.. All the stuff affects everything. Want to make a dude stomp his foot? Animate a foot stomp and connect the kick drum to that animation, done. Want the snare to trigger a strobe? Easy peasy. Want to bind the BPM of a song to the speed of a guy walking around? EZ. Cable from motion sensor to BPM and you're good to go. Want to change the colour of the light by guitar pitch? Again, literally one cable. An amazing piece of software that everyone should have learned but like 2000 people learned it.. Such a shame. Absolutely gutted that this is getting dropped.

My question is….AFAIK you don’t do twitter, and every thing you do is awesome. So, how did you lose ~30% YT subs in a matter of a few videos ? I’m not canadian, but I felt your struggle with Alex on stage. I’d have reacted the same way. My growls and gutterals are just the same as yours. No volume. I do and also don’t want you to go mainstream. I feel it could kill your content if you’ve forced to flood it with sponsors.
