Somerset Studio May/June/July Flip Through / Art Book Show and Tell / My Favorite Magazines 

Hi, Barbie! This was a great video. I have subscribed to Somerset Studio since its beginning. When I moved from Ohio, I gave most of my back issues to a friend. But now I have another stack of issues to cherish. Mostly I just look at them and don't use the images. You have given me some great ideas with this video. Thank you for your inspiration. xoxo

I subscribe and get it for around $12 an issue. I just love flipping through them. I have never really cased one, but it’s on my crafty bucket list. I love the artwork on the cover. So many talented artist. 🧑‍🎨💕🙌📄✂️🥰🌸

You did well with the price you pd for this magazine, on ebay and etsy the tax and shipping to the UK is eye-watering high, total cost on one site was £52 so I passed on that, but it was good to see the flip through, thankyou.

Thank you for the flip through. This is a wonderful issue! I did a quick flip through yesterday at B&N. I didn't have a whole lot of time to spend with it so I am deLIGHTed to see you doing this. Like you, I don't purchase these very frequently. When I do, I consider them Art Books. There is so much inspiration in these. They have so many art papers in this issue as well. So nice! Oh I hope your foot continues to heal completely. Soon you'll be dancin' in the street and everywhere else. Oh another thing...I enjoyed your commentary of this beautiful issue with that AMAZING COVER.

Cool magazine, I've been tempted a few times to get one but so far have resisted, I may have to jump in and get this issue. It's a lovely magazine with loads of ideas. Thanks for sharing!

The Somerset Studio magazine is beautiful and so enjoyable, inspirational and fun to look at. But wow, those prices make it a no-go for me and I'm in the U.S. I think I still have the one I splurged on one time from some years back. And while I love paper-crafting and mixed media, I'm focusing now more on my fine art painting...but it's still fun to look at the fantastic projects shown in Somerset Studio. I see Stampington, the publisher, produces a lot of very nice creatively tempting & eye/candy mags on topics like art journaling , gardening and other lifestyle magazines. Thanks for the flip-through!

I usually buy this magazine when we visit our family in Vancouver…I particularly like “Where women create”….

Thanks for this, I love the magazine but its not easy to find where I live and its about 22.00 in Canada. The photo transfers you looked at by Kate Thompson are done on cloth or paper by painting medium on the laser printed image and placing face done on the cloth or paper and pressing on well. Once dry, best overnight, you dampen/wet the back of the image and rub off the paper gently, leaving the ink imbedded on your fabric or paper. It takes some time but is looks amazing. You couldn't do this on tissue paper as the background as it would not withstand the wetting and rubbing off process. My favourite is on old cotton sheets. Hope that helps.

This is a good flip through. I have been a little disappointed with Somerset lately because it seems to be a repeat of the same but this issue with K cups got me! Thank you!
