Sometimes I kind of wish Captain had some kind of mark or scar in game to notify she went through this. People who came into Splatoon 3 without any knowledge of 2 would have no idea what she went through.
Yeah, it's been my headcanon that the events of Octo Expansion messed up 3 long term, physically and mentally. I actually think every agent has had to go to therapy, with Callie, 3 and 8 needing a lot.
I'd imagine that Neo 3 would need heavy doses of therapy because nearly getting killed by a Grizzly Bear in outer space would probably mess you up real bad.
@@wariot707 Not to mention, nobody has seen a mammal in thousands of years. Seeing one, especially a heavily mutated and bloodthirsty one, would be like seeing dinosaur today. Horrifying.
Tartar: Badabam badabinbury you now have brain injury. Jokes aside I do have this headcanon of 3 being really fucked up by what happened in OE, gives the character a more interesting spin. It is particularly sad though, especially considering 3 is now 21.
But in the end, when it seems like your journey is over.. You're still you. So don't think:Am I a kid or a squid. Think of:It doesn't matter who you are. You are still something that matters (Srry for making this so serious)
Oh man, I loved the sound design for this one with this one. No music, just the sounds of struggling or ambient medical equipment just to show that this stuff is serious. Loved the video man :)

This kinda makes sense given what happens after captain 3 does the special attack on the fuzzy goo. Fun fact: special attacks use large energy spikes to activate. This means it would have taken a lot after being brainwashed to feel nothing to use their special.
That’s what I thought! It would totally explain why it’s said they “sprained a tentacle” after doing that, aswell as why they were sitting down, looking rather upset in the 3rd story mode
Imagine getting half your face ruined by a corpse brain blob thing and being unable to do Anything because your muscle system got Pretty much weakened, Thats what happened if You think.
This might just be one of the best Splatoon comics I’ve seen, the dialogue, voice acting, editing, everything is fire, we need more comics like this in the Splatoon community
Edit: corn flakes! This makes me think more deeply about how actually traumatized the agents can get- it must really be difficult.. I wished it was more explained in the actual game, but it’s a kids game so I guess that explains the lack of depressing scenes there. Either way, this comic made me soo emotional, good job :))

First off, your voice acting is amazing And second, you truly gotta love the pattern of some of the most fun and wholesome of series like Splatoon always have some of the most angsty content produced by their fandom
