So to explain because so much of this is accurate and I'm a nerd :V The blue outfit is the Zora Tunic. it just lets you breathe underwater. Technically Link could buy it as a kid, but they're adult size and literally too expensive for you to buy with your starting wallet. King Zora gives you one for free after thawing him out. The Iron Boots are meant to be used in conjunction with the tunic to travel through the Water Temple and a few other areas. You're unable to use any items or weapons other than the Hookshot while submerged The Tektites in the area do kind of kick your ass if you aren't actively fighting them and just trying to get from one place to another and they're placed in areas just to mess with you 7:10 - This legitimately trips up a lot of people, whether or not it's your first time. There are multiple ways to approach the Dark Link fight. Provided you have enough Magic, you could spam Din's Fire, or outrange him with the Biggoron's Sword, but it's honestly more fun to just clash with the Master Sword 12:48 - And this here is the part _everyone_ dreads the most. This cuts deep for so many people because of how this level was structured. 16:09 - After finishing the Water Temple, the sign you read there says: When water fills the lake, shoot for the morning light. You can quite literally shoot an arrow at the sun, which gives you the Fire Arrows, the first of the three elemental Arrows
Yeah the central room passage hidden under the floating block got me (so much so that in the 3DS version the camera shows the entrance when you raise the water level there) when I was young. The whole wondering around the temple searching for the keys was mostly on the one key hidden behind a bomb-able wall on the second floor where you find Ruto and the other behind a push-able block where you go one way then hit the eye switch on the second level then use the long shot to get across before the gate closes then push the block aside to reach another key. And apparently people forgot the key at the end of the room that looks like a snake which is below the room where you get the long shot after defeating Dark Link (did not know there was a glitch with Ruto which is what the ending of the Dark Link fight was about) because the Time block is in the floor and camouflaged with the rest of the floor (the 3DS version had the Time block standing above the hole instead).
