That means a lot mate ! I hope he enjoys them , that’s the exact reason I don’t swear and try to push fishing respectfully so that the younger ones like your son can learn and fish when they are older 🤙
Great video. I just don't get what I'm doing wrong. Everyone on RU-vid fishes with lures and catches fish in seconds. I've tried and tried the same lures, the same rivers, the same wharves as the RU-vidrs around Sydney and never caught a thing on lures. Everywhere I go no one around me is using lures, everyone is on bait. Its like a parallel universe.
Hey mate cheers for watching , lures are definitely not easy when your getting into them but once you find out your favourite technique and location you learn from there , I promise you it’s not as easy as it looks on RU-vid , I personally have so so many sessions where I come up with nothing , pls keep going with the lures and let me know how you go !!
Hey hugo im thinking of getting that anarchy 6'10 ul rod, just wanted to ask what you think about the rod like the pros and cons. And also is it a slower taper than normal lure rods? thanks mate
Congratulations, hugofishsyd! What an incredible moment captured on your RU-vid video. Your skill and determination shine through as you tackle the soft plastic lure challenge. Keep up the fantastic work, and here's to many more thrilling fishing adventures ahead. Your viewers are undoubtedly hooked!
Hugo, I didn't have any scent and went to a shop and all they had was the dreaded gulp. I was surprised it was a new formula, before it was either hard or runny. I was pleasantly surprised at the new formula but that only lasted a couple of weeks and now it's so sticky I can't get it off my fingers and onto the lure. Long live S factor
@HugoFishSyd I hear ya mate same happened to me need regular vids but life gets in the way! Haha I don't care tho I enjoy making vids for the real fans haha
Hey bro atm my favourite plastic is the squidgie bio tough 70mm fish in bloodworm but sadly it’s discontinued so my next favourite would be any natural colour 65mm squidgeys riggler and prawn riggler matched with a 1/8 1/o L Jighead
@@HugoFishSyd nice mate 👍👍, just a question how come ur able to fish such a heavy jighead and still get bream? i only get swarmed by flatties unless i go 1/20 1/16 or 1/12
@@CrumpysFishing you know what mate I’m not to sure , if u look at my Jighead box I literally only fish 1/8 Jighead for eveything so I’m not too sure , I recon it could come down to where the fish are feeding , I catch most of my bream off the bottom compared to them being midwater on structure , hard to explain but great question
