I'm an 85 year old female, live alone now, feel like I've lived through a lot and seen it all. Today I feel like I've lost my country, it is not the same country I lived in all those years and I feel lost, unsure, troubled and frankly, scared. Something is in the air that is not pleasant, it is a feeling of no hope, no way out, and nowhere to run. My time here is short, and I will not be around to see the worst coming. I pity those younger ones that will have long years of tribulation and suffering from what seems predestined to arrive soon. I do feel God is sickened by all He sees.
I feel bad for the kids today. I grew up in the generation where you rode your bicycle, chewed Bubble Yum, built Shacks over the hill, and played Cowboys and Indians. The 70s were great!!!!!
I don’t hear Gen Z saying the 2000s were great. I grew up in the late sixties early seventies and we would disappear in the morning on our bikes and return home for dinner. We had adventures every day of the summer and were never bored. Life was better then and few would argue that fact. I feel bad for today’s kids.

I turned 13 in 1970. I was the typical 70's kid. I miss it too. But, after research, when l was older, there was some heavy stuff goin on. I already knew about the Vietnam war and that's when Russia was under communism. l was in elementary school. We would hear the air-raid sirens go off and we had to get under our desks. It was a drill. We spent very little time inside and alot more privacy and freedoms.. But, l miss my teen years mostly. Back then.. we had heart n soul. The 80s kids too. But, something got lost along the way after the 90s. I think the People funding and controlling our colleges and educational system plays a BIG part. Then the stuff the Tube won't allow on here to talk about. Lol

I am so blessed that my Grandma told me almost 40 years ago that “that box makes people stupid” My kids don’t care for tv & we spend all day in the backyard. It’s my happy place & therapy. I agree- I was saved 5 years ago and have been preparing ever since. Protect your loved ones & have a plan. I thought I was the only one, but yes I can fell in the atmosphere that something big is coming, and will change the world again. My preaching today was about we have to go back like old time and live simple. Simple means, without light, internet, phone, cars, television, limited food and water supply. That's what I'm receiving from the Holy Spirit. All the fancy and comfortable life soon is going to be thing to the past ladies and gentleman. We have to make sure our heart is clean, pure and aligned to God more than ever.

It's true, the energy in the UK is incredibly tense. Perhaps it will be a perfect storm of big things. Ive told my husband to back up everything from the business on hard drive because the Internet seems in great peril to me, considering the state of the world.
I was on a train journey last year from Highlands Scotland where we live down to Edinburgh, a 4 hour trip. I never use my phone on trains. The family beside me in the carriage, a father and 3 teenage children spent the entire 4 hour journey on the individual phones. They did not communicate to each other once, not even a word. I found it truly scary! They did not even share anything they had seen or read. What a wasted opportunity for that father and his children.
Sad isn't it. One of the reasons I went phoneless 2 years ago. Freedom is the feeling you get. We managed perfectly well without them for most of history..
I don't carry tech with me only when absolutely necessary. When I go shopping the happiness I use to see in people is not there anymore. Very little of smiles and laughter. People appear empty.
I smile and say good morning/ afternoon to everyone I pass. It’s wonderful to connect with others. I’ve walked through a national trust property today (a monastery built 900 years ago in England) most people were 50+ or very young families, and everyone acknowledged me, and it was possible to have a conversation with strangers, but sadly certain demographics are not as connected.
When out in public ... shopping ... in a nursing facility ... "Thank You For Coming Into Work Today!" I exclaim smiling to workers. (they have never heard such words before from anyone)

That means more are doing so offline, myself being one having found his way back. There can never be evil current without a current of good. It could be a multitude of things or events ! One which is concerning too me is the fact that we don't see any politicians hearing up for the possible coming election ! I haven't seen any challenge to the Democratic or Republican party! Is it because they know something we don't? Is the fix already in? Or are we not going to have an election due to some catastrophic event we are not yet aware of! I think they are just keeping us busy as to not become ungovernable!

I produce my own food and goods, have my own water, don't rely on electric, don't work a regular job.. My homestead is my job.. Everyone must get off the hamster wheel and live self sufficient. But now I am sober I have transferred that addiction to RU-vid! I can spend all day on RU-vid! I’m going to start walking through the state park by my house at least 4 times a week without my phone. It's so easy to switch addictions, isn't it! Began my recovery journey in late 80s...worked in field as a substance abuse counselor...knowledge didn't save me from releases...only Yah helped me. Blessings!

Bad recession. Even me, upper middle class income, lucky to have low rent, no car payment, yet I can barely afford to live anymore. Taxes are too high, have to save for retirement, and everyday expenses now eat up everything else. How the heck do people on normal incomes survive? My guess is they aren't and they are now living on credit cards or are broke

I have the same feeling, you can feel it in the air (or the gut). Something is definitely coming, something big, and I am looking forward to it because I’m not designed to live this way and I am beyond ready for change, this isn’t life, this was never how humans were supposed to live and it’s killing our souls and making us sick. I think things will eventually be better but before that we are all going to have to go through something big, not everyone will make it, things are going to be tough, but those that do get through it will be rewarded with better times. Everyone needs to get their heads out of their phones and connect with nature, reconnect with themselves and their communities. Learn how to produce and store food, purify water, hunt, protect yourself. Buy useful books because what will you do if google and RU-vid no longer exists and you can’t ask the internet how to cook something or fix something or make something? Buckle up people and get prepared for the fight of your life, we are all going to need each other!

I too feel the best life is over. I long for the old way of life but it's gone. Many watchman feel our Lord returning very soon. I know we have heard it for years, but things seem really really off.

@@brii6427No one knows the exact day, but we have signs to look for. Add to that the timeline. There is an appointed day for God to take all those out that have put their faith in Jesus. Then it's the great tribulation and God turning his attention back to the Jewish people. The rapture of the Christians has to be very soon or we would run out of time.
I get told off, as I'm not attached to my phone and leave it in random places, the car, bedroom, bathroom, don't respond to texts for days, you are speaking the truth, the awful film Kingsman really did it for me, I watched it as the lovely Hubby wanted to, but the scenes with the phones, well to me said it all. Ive been feeling this way for years. Probably about 20 years. Its only brought me closer to God. But lately as crazy as it sounds. I feel like I'm being attacked even while praying to God. I feel this overwhelmingly feeling of weight and heaviness on my heart. Aching for the answers. Praying and hoping my children have a future. As we all work ourselves into the dirt.

I’m a Christian and welcome the end. For those who are not , it’s your choice. We have a natural animal side if you will, not just spiritual. I’ve looked at too many people who are uneasy about our situation. They “feel” it approaching. In bad times this isn’t abnormal. Remember the old line “ Something wicked this way comes.” What’s coming is horrible. Open your eyes and your mind and be self aware or accept what comes.
To see what is coming as horrible is just an opinion. There is no good or bad, its just your perception of what exists. What's good for youay be harmful to others. What is horrible now may create enormous growth and abundance in the future. None of it is good or bad, it's just how things work. Humans think they created this environment we live in and they think they control the world. Forces beyond our comprehension control most of what humans do, we decide very little in our lives. Adapt to the changes or get left behind.

In mid 2019 I had the feeling something big was coming, I told a friend and was sceptical, a year later she called to remind me of my prediction, for sometime now, I’ve had a similar feeling but of something more profound… The sad thing is, like the pandemic, most people will be totally unaware until it’s too late… Watch this space… I have an extremely large bucket of popcorn reserved for this upcoming event. When I'm in public I try to use my phone at a bare minimum and yes your right so many people are glued to their phones. We have been disconnected from our spirits, our friends, and our loved ones. I pray for the times where candle light is the only source of light.

I’m 63 and maybe this happens to everyone when they get older, but when I watch movies that were made during my life time, I think to myself, “Man, times were simpler and much better back then.” I’m glad to see I am not alone. I really enjoyed hanging out with my buds and doing all the things I did back then. Now, I feel lost when I go to the loo and don’t have my cell phone or IPad!😂 I did read a lot of magazines back then for the articles! 😂 it feels we are in a weird lawless, crazy time now, like the movie Back to The Future, when they traveled to alternate futures and one was really bad! Right? I sometimes wish we could travel back and change things for the better like they did in the movie. Who could have seen this coming!😊
I feel the same way , almost a dread that something is going to happen, it’s going to be either dynamic or catastrophic but either way it’s going to change humanity.
i remember a time when i had to hike 3 miles and snow shoe down a dirt road from 4400 feet elevation up and get in my little car and drive 13 miles just to get to a pay phone that cost 25¢ and call my mom just to tell her i loved her, the little post office was right there by the tiny store and i totally loved my life, i had no electricity and no running water, but i had a wood stove to cook on and melt snow and take my baths, and life was JOYFUL and simple, i managed to do occasional jobs in another town from time to time about 30 miles away, and i never went hungry, i saw moose with her twins a few times, i saw a huge puma on my teepee deck, i had some nite lights on my trail to the cabin and outhouse that i ran off a car battery that i charged when i drove to town, the herbs of the land healed my kidney stones, i painted, i danced, i sang, i healed...i LIVED personally, i think we will find a simple and joyful life awaits us when we let go and just BE
