I have a smaller theory why Azeroth stopped communicating with Magni and it follows Neltharion's theory. Neltharion felt that Azeroth was dying. Azeroth communicates through feelings, and Neltharion sensed this. And back then, virtually no one knew that Azeroth was a titan. Plus, while the Old Gods were shut down, they were so deeply rooted in her that they continued their corruption (just not as fast). So the hard feelings of Azeroth informing Neltharion and the whispers of N'zoth at the same time caused his belief in a dying Earth. Neltharion eventually ended up fully corrupted and Azeroth lost the possibility of communication for a long time. Chance came with Magni and prepared him so that he could help her. After N'zoth was defeated, there wasn't much left that could significantly harm her (except for the sword). Azeroth continued to evolve until it reached the point where it was able to contact certain people. But at the same time she blessed the Aspects who are once again able to do what she needs, one of which replaced Neltharion. Now Ebyssian may have become Azeroth's speaker and she no longer needs Magni.
Azeroth is being silenced by Xal'atath and it's her that's speaking to everyone to get them to go there. She's not speaking to Magni because he would be able to discern that it's not Azeroth. This is also why Alleria is hearing something different, because of her connection to the Void.
Makes far more sense than the entirety of shadowlands. And with the second expansion being called Midnight, Im not going to be shocked if this is right.
I think Azeroth is not talking to us, it is Xal’atath and the Void. That is why Magni is having a bit of madness and is not hearing Azeroth, she isn’t speaking to us, also why Alleria can hear it, and she’s having Visions.
I think Sargeras destroyed Azeroth's prison with his sword. In BFA Azeroth was already wounded and bleeding Azerite, so I think the prison was already broken since then.
The same orb Prison that the incarnates were in can also be found in the new earthen starter zone but for some reason I have not seen anyone mention it yet.
8:45 Ummm, yeah, I know it's just kind of a "stock" background video here, but Moira was in Shadowforge City when Magni turned himself into a diamond. She did not return until after the Cataclysm broke the world and the expansion officially started. Magni, however, turned himself into diamond during the Elemental Unrest stage of the pre-patch.
makes me wonder WHO will sacrifice themselves to renew Azeroth.. kinda like how in Shannara an elf girl basically sacrfices herself to become a new Elcris tree to keep deamons behind a barrier away from everything.... just a theory mind you, but would be an EPIC story....
My guess willl be that the sword of sargeras corrupted a part of the azeroth soul (or made a crack to a prison wall) and that part is calling in a more void voice to one charapter, to order corrupted another part of the soul and is calling out to the dwarf that has factory reset settings and the original soul is calling out for alliance and hordes to save her as they have done a million times before.
Wait.. I thought I saw a video (maybe from nobbel) where Magni does turn back into his original self? In a cutscene that hasn't been implemented yet, just rolling text. Maybe I just dreamed that up though.
So Azeroth is actually a Pokémon and the Titans+VoidLords+etc have simply been playing a universe-wide version of Pokémon Go all that time? Love it. :D Regarding crystals in Earthen: if they are memory crystals... maybe when Magni became a big diamond, the diamond also contains additional memories and Magni was just "talking" to those memories instead of Azeroth herself. Though... could we craft a diamond shovel out of Magni? Requires just two sticks and a diamond, right? :P
I love that after banging on about his new girlfriend for an entire expansion hes all moody and depressed now that hes getting ghosted. I dont blame her. Didn’t the sword stab through the chamber of the heart, and N’zoth attacked Uldum’s forge of Origination. Those plus the Jailer’s plan might’ve awakened her and destroyed the stasis she was under
pretty much everything in wow history has explored magic infusion and how it changes evolution, I mean how many Elf variants did we need before we figured that out... I think most of us got it in Burning Crusade hahaha
The idea that now Azeroth and world souls in general are not titans by default is so weird and breaks so many other things in the lore... This hard on for making Titans into villains is so unnecessary and the result is not worth it.
Sorry dude but the dragon isles woke up BECAUSE the dragons came home. Once the land awoke the stone keeper lit the beacon so the dragons could see and land on the isle. But they knew where it was. It went dormant after they left, because they left. The beacon just shrouded it.
The premise of the story line seems a little off to me. How does this world soul know something's coming after it? Does it see the future? Does it read minds? What's going on there? It just seems like a plot hole. Also, I interpreted "The King of Diamonds has been made a pawn" thing to mean that he was made a pawn of Azshara. He spent the expansion encouraging the players to empower their Heart of Azeroth with more and more power, which Azshara then used to free N'Zoth.
Your second paragraph about the magni pawn line is exactly what it was shown....... which is odd, because Bellular seems to be gaslighting as if it was something else.
10:10 I don't like this at all. This just feels like retconning to me. Oh, so you say Magni JUST HAPPENED to turn himself into a diamond accidentally and then Azeroth JUST HAPPENED to need a speaker and his spirit JUST HAPPENED to be awake enough inside this diamond form (when, according to new info, he should have been DEAD - that's what decommissioned means to a living creature) and they both JUST HAPPENED to get on the same page and get Magni to Khadgar and us at the right moment. That's a lot of things lining up - and, frankly, I liked it more when it seemed like Azeroth had some agency in deciding upon her speaker; when the story was the it took that long for Azeroth's voice to wake up inside him and for him to learn how to communicate with her - NOT Azeroth essentially going 'oh, lookit this dorf that is a diamond now. I think I shall take this accident and see if I can talk to it and make it talk to the other little things up there'. One of the big things that Horde players (like myself) didn't get bent out of shape about was that it made sense for Magni to be chosen as Speaker. Few races have more respect for and a deeper connection to the actual earth of Azeroth - and, by all accounts, Magni was a fair and honorable leader and entirely devoted to the health not only of this race, but of his home. (I wish more Alliance players would have had this same mindset when it came to Thrall in Cataclysm, but I digress...) Why can't we just leave old lore alone and just let it be the way that things happened?? Why does every single expansion now have to re-write events we've already seen and/or played through in game from some different point of view that lessens the impact and meaning of the original event and/or explanation? This is literally Blizzard saying to us, every expansion: "You know that game-winning point you scored? You only scored it because someone else let it happen to make you feel good."
So what’s going to happen is what I have been saying for years. Since every aspect of the universe wants a crack at our planet. Azaroth will awaken into a total perfect being. One infused with every order.
There is no "curse" of flesh, flesh is pure, stones and metal are not. Magni never spoke to Azeroth, he spoke to Eonar pretending to be Azeroth. During Antorus he even says he hears a familiar voice and when he truly speaks with Azeroth he gets knocked back.
I know all stories are just people making shit up but in my mind wows lore ended with Legion. No one who originally wrote the lore is still there so everything now is just basically fanfic
I still don't understand why so many people are pushing the narrative that the things the titans are doing are negative. Like "Oh no! The titans are trying to make everything... ordered and nice! How dare they!"
Their version of "ordered and nice" may not always line up with ours, and would eventually end up far too oppressive. I feel like we're heading toward Azeroth being a creature that is equal parts everything: Life, Death, Light, Void, Order, Chaos. She's been hit by major things from many of those already
Because the titans don't care about mortal wants, needs, will or desires, they want everything to fit into a pre-ordained system. One way to get rid of crime in the real world is to stop anyone from thinking outside of what the law permits, but that's often considered despotic and evil.
I dont know what the shit is this thing but its not warcraft. Magni is a dwarf mountain king a warrior leader of the dwarves not a fucking diamond golem begging for help all the time...
Please Blizzard, dont turn Azeroth into a "Woke" planet that in the end finds it's own different way and shoves it down our throats. We have RL for that, leave the game out of politics, trends and different pronounce.

Magni not hearing the radiant song is a hint that radiant song is not coming from Azeroth. Keep in mind locus walker said he heard a similar song when his planet got attacked by the void. This could very well be part of the voids invasion plan, something like gathering up enemy forces to take them out in one go. Currently we know it's something that people hear when void attacks a planet and that magni, the one that speaks with the world soul, hears nothing
It's kind of obvious. The 'Azeroth' talking to everyone isn't actually Azeroth but some Void impostor. Azeroth is actually trapped or in another way incapable of communicating with Magni.
Light + World Soul = Naaru Shadow + World Soul = Void Lords Order + World Soul = Titan Disorder + World Soul = Legion Death + World Soul = Undead / Dead gods Life + World Soul = ?? What will an uncorrupted world soul become?
