All i know is this inflation makes it really hard to grind a bond in f2p Edit: I did finally grind my first bond. And thanks to the kind soul who generously gave me a bond. I appreciate you. I hope to finally enjoy Runescape in the members' worlds. Be kind to each other.
@@chrystone1 all money goes to helping family, RuneScape is just an escape. I have no ill will toward farming a bond, just saying inflation makes it harder, especially with it being my first account
I'm kind of surprised nobody has tried to create an inflation indicator for OSRS and then use that to adjust current prices to more accurately model changes independent of inflation.
@@Oct0ber_Skyy Nah, there's a few confounding variables that make bonds an inaccurate gauge, specifically events that drive up bond demand disproportionately to other goods/ingame commodities. Ban waves will spike bonds but not necessarily all other items equivalently.
@@TheMilkYourDadWentToBuy That makes a lot of sense. I should have probably said best “single item” indicator, and only because it’s tied to an external currency that is more stable. I’m sure a better answer would be weighted on a ton of consumables, equipment, etc?
@@Oct0ber_Skyy Yeah, a solid litmus would need to be an amalgamation of a bunch of different factors and unfortunately I don’t think the people that have the requisite skills to do so would generally be interested in doing that for runescape lol.
@@JaytheGreen you’re the type of dude to log into his level 70 main with a firecape chasing around maxed infernal cape players with thousands of difficult KC and 10+ inferno kc accusing them of buying their cape
I was going threw my bank, wondering what do i sell to gamble, sure enough the suckers are 2m ea i was/still am mind blown reason for being here. Glad i had 6 of them 😂😂😂
HE DIDNT CRASH IT, it crashed itself... you must not understand anything about investing at all lmaooo. Things dont just spike up quickly and then stay there... people buy and then when people sell....the price goes down...............wowoowwwowow crazy right?!?!?
They are currently sitting at just below 4 mil each. Crashed nothing. They look like they might go parabolic. If you're smart, you'd be holding onto some.
Bots aren’t as big as a problem as merch clans and this troll content creator they just sit at ge and take money from the real players and rwt there gold so learn before you speak.
Thanks for this! I'm coming back to RS after over 15 years of not playing and I was wondering why there always seems to be someone at the GE every day spamming "Buying Christmas Crackers, 1.5mil"
It’s not just inflation items get deleted and bought with that g.e tax to keep prices stable and as new raids get released less players play old content and tbows keep getting deleted all while going up in price due to demand
Glad i bought me and my buddy a scythe back when they were a few hundred mil. Sense then he gave me back scythe for his collat and i cashed in 800m profit
I play F2P OSRS and thought it was weird that in W301 in the GE theres always like 2 or 3 people saying they are buying all christmas crackers and now this video comes out WTF, sounds like market manipulation bevause of those damn gambling bots in the G.E.
Is it not all bots? Gp is like 12 cents a mil on rwt sites, which is crazy cheap. Rev caves in particular seem to have been really bad, which is a huge source of alchs into the game, plus other bosses.
tbh, for all this runescape market checking you do, you could just invest into real stocks XD I hope you do, I'm sure the skills will transfer slightly.
It's crazy just how much gold is in the game at this point. Almost makes me curious whether Jagex will do a hard reset at some point similar to what they did with old school. Where the economy will be reset entirely. Or if they will have a specific set of worlds with their own economy without the GE. That would be interesting to see.
@@johnny8926-b4i oh did they do something like that? I only recently started playing again. It's just pretty wild how over inflated everything is both in real life and the game.
@@koenwijnen8278 tbh, the only purpose for fresh start worlds i can think of would be to let new players try their hand at wilderness content without the pkers around. This is obvs a very shit reason, but i could see people doing this.
i think RuneScape can just go in GE and buy out stuff increasing inflation in the game. keeping the games items high in price. a part of the games market was people were lazy and not much people taking RuneScape seriously to Grind back then redeeming value over a period of time. there was a sense of value in the game that made items homie about the game. as well for free to play with god rune armor. i feel like RuneScape can also change the new bow ammo bag can be sold for 50-100mill gold each. reducing the inflation.
do diaries, with diaries, kingdom, daily farm runs/bird house runs u can earn bond in a week. value adds up alot. if u add slayer into mix ull make money (will be net positive)
The day after this video I got 3 bonds for 9.25m. First time I made enough for a bond with in game gold too. Grinded rev caves for 14 days and got 50m+. I no longer feel as noobish 😊
I’m over here waiting for the stalls update so I don’t have to spend hours of clicking stalls to get my thieving level up for dt…. First account on osrs basically a noob making a zerk
Dragon Bones was a lucky one for me... I had bought and just been lazy about using a stack of about 4k of them... then I realized the price spike happened and decided to just flip them instead.
Hopefully it’s a sign that they’re going to start banning bots. I’d love if them bring back Botany Bay, or even just the random events that would kill bots.
It’s because of this loser and merch clans they are holding items more then ever because of ge tax and geeed they wanna rip off people who work hard on this game.
I think it’s crazy how much the highest tier weapons cost in osrs. 1.7 b would be about 20b in rs3… and their most expensive weapon ever was only 6-7b and that was on release. And it required 3 separate drops to assemble.
Merch clans are just holding them to make a huge profit like this clown because ppl that work hard and play game without just sitting at ge taking money from others will buy it and lose 400m and never recover this games full of sad troll bitches who cheat and sell gold like “Mr fliphisdic”
the ely will likely be either actively bad or require shield swapping in perilous moons; they've mentioned multiple hitsplats being relevant (meaning you'd like to use scythe, or the new dual-wield weapon that's going to be a reward from this content)
the one i saw this year was guam leaf went from like 260ish average cost to like 600/700ish each its like wtf how does this even happen lol. glad im an ironman and can avoid all this nonsense
I hate the prices in this game. My bank is 350m which is POOR. Back in the day, even just before the EOC, 350m was an insane amount of gold. Santa Hats were like 100m around then.
It’s so funny because I knew this would happen at some point. Bought 300 ccs for around 100k ea months ago & stopped playing. Came back seeing my bank value spiked 600m & was shocked they gamblers finally caught on. Sold off almost all of them. I think jagex might do something about it to prevent gambling similar to the m seeds. Was a nice welcome back godt
Or they'll just phase them out and let the gamblers buy them up and use them, til their gone from game. They can just give out the phat set at reward from now on.
I remember buying a granite hammer for like 100k and I was just clearing my inventory today and saw it went up to 385k today. So that’s cool for mid level players
Tbf it didn’t make sense that 7.99 got you like 4m when that would be less than 2 dollars on the BM. Bond prices have historically followed trends and lately, from what I’ve noticed, there has consistently been 100-110k+ people online at any given hour. Not to mention bot farms more than likely using bonds. The prices have always been weird but I might just be having a hard time seeing how the price reflects inflation in the game.
