I take a look at the Geeetech Alkaid Resin SLA 3D printer. As a complete novice to resin printers, there was a bit of a learning curve but I had some very successful prints with this printer and want to share my experience. I also give you a basic explanation of how resin printing works.

Hey great info, man! I'm solidly in both camps of miniatures/art pieces but also practical real world stuff like shims and precision measurements. I super appreciate this video, definitely subbed and would like to see more, especially from this printer!

Hey, good to see videos from you again! I hope you're doing well. This is a great subject, I've been interested in resin printing but have not taken the time to learn anything about it. One thing I would appreciate if you could cover is if there are different resin types and what they would be good for. Your videos on TPU gave me the confidence to try it and now I love it, for certain applications. Take care! Mick

Hey Mick, thanks. It has been a hard year. I plan on getting some nylon like resin and maybe some flex stuff. The higher quality resins are pretty pricey. But I would like to do some comparison testing between filament and resin. Glad you like the TPU, it is my favorite to print but like you say, it needs the right application.

Between this, Creality's new laser printer, a cnc plasma machine, a cnc router, buiding a new shop, finishing the house and re-covering the wings on the plane, I think I could stay busy.🤣😂

Lol, good to hear from you. I might be getting one of the new laser engravers from Creality. If they can etch metal like they say, that would be awesome. I have been extremely busy with my dad and mom's old house this year. Having 2 houses has its perks but also a lot of work.
