You found the Eidelon!!! ;D, the "Oh its just rusty stuff" in the room you looked through earlier! I wish you luck, I have faith in you, so long as you dodge the attacks you can beat (notice I didnt say kill) the Eidelon within the durability of a single copper Falx blade. You can actually parkour out of there and skip the Eidelon altogether but for the sake of the series im guessing you'll want to fight him at least once. Lore wise the Eidelon is actually quite sad, its what the scroll was referring to with the librarians being nervous to go through maintenance because of it, he was just an iron giant made by Falx to run errands and keep the archives running but ended up becoming corrupted with all the others of Falx's machines, then the roof caved in on him, so he really doesn't want to be there. Like all of Falx's creations, in his true form, he'd be harmless and a benefit to the player or at least the archive itself, and yet you can neither de-corrupt him nor free him.
Not only is this the first time I discover this channel (after RU-vid wouldn't stop recommending me this particular video) but it's also the first time I am being made aware of Vintage Story. So that's two birds with one stone type of deal. I subscribed without hesitation!
my exact reaction, but the archives is just the start, it really feels like its the end of the tutorial for vintage story cause just then you get the real tools to take over the land. I wish they add more stuff like been able to build farming robots with ruin's components.
I don't remember if the Resonance Archives allow you to do cave art inside them, but if so, some charcoal might've been nice to take along. You can draw on walls with it
also for future reference there's 4 things you can use for cave art, each with different colors: charcoal pieces - black chalk pebbles - white hematite chunks - red limonite chunks - yellow
When I did the resonance archive I was able to just break down the big metal doors.. and the locust nests. Its much more terrifying doing it the right way. I'm glad they changed it
Unlucky with the pump head. Hopefully the bossfight goes better 🙏 😌 You can actually mount antlers from creatures you have hunted. The most recent ish update added the antler mounts and a bunch of new animals like moose, deer, and a bunch of goats.
I love that you are scared and go forward nonetheless. It's so funny. I'm not sure if I want to do that in VS, all those monsters scare the shit out of me. I really hate them. 🥴
I got jumpscared by the goat as well lol Good vid, although if you make cliffhangers a reoccurring theme in these videos I will place a powered pump head in your house
I skipped to the end because I don't want to spoil the Archives for myself. Nice cliffhanger. 😆 The best part is, I understand this is only the *first* of the deep lore sites the developers have planned. Remember, this game remains in *early development* . It's nowhere near finished. 😎
I just realized there's crazy music playing 😭 I usually have the music turned down/ off so I can edit a little bit better. I've got it in the new ep though, very spooky but amazing music! :)
God damn the balls on you to jump into an underground pool in a place like this without being able to see the bottom with no hesitation at all is insane
Nooooooooo! Cliffhanger! Common! Man! Is that a boss? What? What? What? Common maaaan! Had me on the edge of my seat! Is this a mod? Or actually in vanilla game…..I’m getting the game in a few days! Wanna know what I’m getting in to! Haha Once again though Man! Brilliant video!
Hi just a question, as im new to this game and stumbled uppon this video; is this mine shaft dungeon thiny offical content or is it a mod? o.o its scary.
@@TimmyTwoNipples I think Minecraft can be pretty scary if you play alone. The endermen, for example, when I started playing I was very scared kjjhkhkjjjk
I was about to buy the game when I found out that they're capping the tech level at Steel equipment. I have a visceral need to dig out nitre beds and create a military industrial complex to prosecute my war against whatever terrible things live underground.
