@@Papaspronator Is that really the case? Or is it that Devon have been constantly occupied with shw? I'm not saying you are wrong and I honestly think that it is the worst division in all of evw. Most of the natural good pullers at 115 either buff up for shw since the prestige is higher, or are small enough to make 105 if they cut weight. Who even pulls heavyweight with the intention to stay there currently? Sandris left, Michael Todd aim for shw etc etc
Dadikyan wont be strong enough to beat devon considering he seems to gas out in his matches. But... he is very quick which could be problematic for Devon. Still think Devon wins comfortably though
Devon vs Dadikyan is gonna be pretty lit, mostly for the prematch hype, because face to face David is very reactive is prone to getting v aggressive, has a temper, and ain't shy of getting physical off the table either, careful Devon
Careful of what and whom ? Dadikyan ? The 105 roid rage bald ass dude ? Ahahhahahaha , a mam that has literally seen death multiple times to be careful of a guy that gets angry when he loses ? Hahahahahah
@@lmdoinraysmomlooked frightening in his fight with Thor To be fair he's a big dude snd can obviously handle himself, but let's not pretend he is some mythical fighter just because he was special forces
@@Bigramt yeah but thats thor. Like obviously some guys can beat him up but thats like you have to be huge. Dadikyan is not beating him in a fight. Once i saw him wrestle juij and how he handled him. You have to be abnormal to win a fight against him

The documentary should honestly have been when Devon is much older and about to retire I can see in the future when Devon is like 60 in a a like a east vs west 20 or whatever it will be against Auden snd release the doc then about his whole life and what he has done
@@Armfan17 Ever since Dadikyan acted like an ass against Oleg I'm always hoping for him to lose. And he's going to get absolutely destroyed by Devon which will be glorious to witness!
I think the documentary would have been amazing to have 2 different POV’s.. Devon and Levan. Just like any good show.. you have to choose who you are rooting for and you could probably feel the lead up and hype through the documentary as well.
It's interesting that Denis Vovk made a video asking Davit in which category will he compete, at 115 or 105 kilograms. Davit said 115, but Engin posted a matchup for 105 kgs.
Dadikyan is more than strong enough to be a real opponent for Devon. He is super explosive as well. Dadikyan knows what to work on for every specific opponent he will be facing. He trains and wrestles smart.
Heavy weight guyz going to face the same version of davon who faced Levan. Dude is the Levan of heavy weight division. 😅. That's why most of us really wanted to see him to pull some More matchs in super heavy weight division. Atleast one match against genadi
Pradeep who has been a contender at 115 for Devon? He demolished Sandris already who at the time was arguably the top contender. How many matches have been held at 115 at EVW? Hardly any. It’s not a situation where there a bunch of guys competing at 115 wanting a title shot. There hardly been any 115 right arm matches at all
Who actually pulls in that weight class? Seems like most guys that have been here are actually small guys that tried to put on weight and not actual proper sized pullers. But if Sandris was NR 2 why isn't that dude who beat him last time rewarded with a title shot? Honestly it is not only the pullers but the marketing for what is going on in 115 kg is non existent and it actually feels like the whole weight class is put on hold right now.
The scriptwriter of the documentary probably already planned that after Devon won against Levan. Devon is exhausted after winning the fight and starts screaming loudly: "Jodiiiii, Jodiiiii..." like Stalone in Rocky 1. Jodi would have stepped out of the crowd that had stormed the stage, looked Devon in the eyes and said with emotion, "I'm so proud of you, Devon."😂
Devon gonna be all up in daddykins head with the trash talk and mind games plus daddykins temper, woooo daddykin won't know where he's at by the time the match is over lol
@@mcfarvo - The weight is irrelevant. The only thing that matters is the individuals in question. Imagine 260lb Devon defeating top 5 400lb Georgie. He did!
@@killjoy362 Unfortunately he will have to pull supers again coz if he beats Dadikyan 105kg & Matyushenko for 115kg than he has no matches at Both weights. There's a reason Engin forced him to compete again at SHW once he destroyed prudnik & sandris at the time both were 1st & 2nd.
@@HafizShivji786Sandris was never number 1. Maybe at EVW he was rank 1 but in world ranking, never. Devon made his own choice after that to move to super heavy because he wanted more competition and to try for number 1 again but he is done trying, he knows his body is not capable any more. He's been saying that this year would be his last run for a long time now.
@@nathantp39 he was ranked number 2 at the time behind Prudnik at 115 kg. Nah you can find Devon's video & Engin at the time individually talking about Devon needing to challenge himself instead of stagnating with no challenge at heavyweight that was Engins words before announcing Devon facing Genadi
@@sui6160 really 😂 But what you are saying did not happen. After losing, he was running away talking, it seems you did not see it properly..Looks like you didn't have money to watch live .That's why you are talking after seeing half finished things on RU-vid.🤣
I thought it was going to be a 115kg match as well, And I also believe that Davit will be much more dangerous to Devon at 105kg, because for the obvious reason of him being shorter than Devon, therefore he will be able to big thicker & likely stronger at 105kg than Devon.
There are so many good matches in the Super heavy weight divison left + Ermes and genadi rematch. Firstly he is officialy the number 2 in the world. And second, he trained a long long time to get to his level. Cutting down to 105 which means 12 kg for him and he is already very lean is not healthy at all. And yes, Water cut this and that, my question, will we see the official weight on competition day?
I dont think Devon weighs in at 105kg , and not dadikyan either. I think they will go for 110kg but never show the weigh ins, they will claim it is 105kg. But in my opinion i guess it will be around 110kg but "105' on paper.
@@jocke8672 Exactly my point. As i remember correctly when John fought the title at 95kg not long ago he was really that low and took his Cut for real. Engin said if he didnt make the weight its not a title match. Iam all for Weigh ins at East vs West btw.
@@Lotus1001 yes i agree. But we talk about Devon now, who gets most PPV in the game. I think engin is not so strict with Devon. It will be 110kg 100% but 105kg on paper.
He is not officially #2, because there is no #2 in the title sense. He should get removed from the inofficial rankings if he doesnt compete at that division. Else it would be like Denis holding the hammer without competing (i love denis, i just think it should be consistency in their arguments).
Definitely yes, if he won the match I'm 100% sure everyone would talk about him for days after the match... now that he lost noone even talk about that match as much as it should, the fact that Levan came back from a serious injury without even training at all until the last six months, I'm so glad that Laratt lost for many reasons, the man needs to be humbled
Alright, say the WEST says fuck it, and stays over here. Now, how much attention will the East have then? And the Levan worship? He by FAR uses the most PED's the past 12-15 years to DOUBLE his body weight. Who & I mean WHO anywhere in the arm game has done this? DTF ON!
@@_Raiyyan Devon does her special treatment. No matter how many times I told him not to do it. He continues to rise before go. That’s why Devon won’t do a waf tournament. He won’t beat top 5 with cheating.
@@SaiyanJin85Devon...humbled? Are you silly? Stupid fuq🤡. Devon haven't been humbled and never will, the guy is truly definition of arm wrestling, we need champs like him, not like levan
After the match with Denis, Devon said he wouldn't take any more matches with guys associated with Babkin.... what happened here? Money too good to refuse?
Levan is on his high horse getting the big bucks from being in movies and TV shows. That's why he doesn't want Devon recording him cause he wants that money $$$$$$
NOPE🤣🤣🤣!!! I agree JB is the current GOAT, but when King Devon retires he will be the NEW GOAT! No one has had as many matches and beaten just about everyone like Devon! Levan is the strongest ever but when he’s only arm wrestling 3 times in 4 years he will never be a true champion!!!
@@Mrkoolaid333Dude seriously it is not close. First of all, this modern format of super matches means that the pullers are far less active. But not only that, what did Devon really achieve except a great comeback and a 115 kg title during this run (post covid)? Who did he beat during this time to make him the GOAT in comparison to earlier? Since the start of his comeback he have beaten Michael Todd, John Brzenk, Prudnik, Sandris that are all 115 or smaller. He beat Georgi, Ermes, Denis and Chaffee in super heavies where only Ermes is truly a top 5 at the time of competition. He lost to Levan x2 and Genadi during this period as well. Now if you lose 3/7 in superheavies, how can you claim that you are the best?
@@Mrkoolaid333 Ah so you are a troll then. Good to know, seem to be the norm amongst trolls in the aw community to Devon supporters as well oddly enough.
"There are some mountains that can never be climbed" 😂😂😂 Imagine having a documentary about your success in the arm wrestling world and the title shines the light on your biggest enemy😂😂
Yes and the biggest enemy will not be Levan but himself (his ego/complacency). Devon said 95-5 in his favor, so 5% chance for Levan. Seems to me Levan was the underdog all along and managed to do the impossible, to defeat the #1 Devon, no one would have expected... OR it was his ego/overconfidence... "Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall."
@@user-pb7pr3di8m I agree with you when it comes to Devon's ego/complacency being his downfall. I disagree with you when it comes to Levan being the underdog. I believe everyone has an opinion and most favored Devon only because Devon is the Connor McGregor of Armwrestling. The truth is Levan was always gonna win because of his humility, strength, and technicality where as Devon has strength, technicality, but pride. Levan has been unbeaten for I believe the last 7 years. The guy knows what he is doing but didnt received the crowd because Devon has the popularity and trash talk which people of this world favor. But I can see where you're coming from.
@@randymartinez6446 Levan was the underdog as portrait by Devon and his fans. Devon said 95-5 in his favor, so 5% chance of Levan winning. This is "underdog" for me.
@@user-pb7pr3di8m But does it really matter what Devon and his fans say? I dont believe so. It's all an opinion. What matters is the results of the last match and the results of the preparation for this match which we can see Levan dominated Devon's lift plenty of times.
Devon will only have a challenge in a few heavyweight pulls. But any other weight class will be no competition whatsoever. Hands down. 4-0 all day. You can take that to the bank. You'll see. Dadikyan is counting the days. He's already lost!!? 💪🇨🇦💪
Good. Lets exclude everything which we dont like and only include which we like, so every match Devons win is good, every match he loses didnt happen. Seems legit.. I think they make it more "meta" about the life of an arm wrestlers, ups and downs, challenges, traveling, practicing with the community etc. you cant possible deny history and his loses, so it must be about something else. On the other hand you could even FRAME loses as if he won the challenge etc., for example as to accept loss or to improve further etc. So in the end we get to see the "hero" that he is..
Now that Devon has fallen out of the GOAT conversation, it is wise for him to take matches that favor him. He needs to string together some wins to mitigate these back to back losses.
I'm not the biggest fan of Devon since I think he takes his disrespectful antics too far sometimes, but how is Devon out of the GOAT conversation for losing to Levan? Unless of course you're saying that Levan is the GOAT (and fair enough if that's your opinion). I was just curious because most people think Brzenk is the GOAT and I seriously doubt the prime version of him beats Levan either, but depending on how you assess GOAT status, that may not be disqualifying.
Devon Is forever in GOAT discussion. The longer he arm wrestle at the elite level. Which let's be honest he is absolutely elite in 105/115 and SHW. Only loses to the absolute monster than is the strongest AW to ever fucking live. Compare than to John who pulled mostly bums for 15years although he's a legend coz he did it for 40years
it almost feels engin is doing everything in his power to allow devon to get two belts, not saying its rigged but devon should be holding the 115kg title anymore, so getting the 105kg title shouldnt be his second belt, he should have no belts right now
you are kind of dumb. Who is a challneger in 115 that has said they even want to complete? Name one person please that is in the top 10 of the weightclass and I will delete my comment.
Tbh, not that excited to see Devon in the LHW or HW categories. He's going to have an easy time for a few years yet. And he's still very competitive in the SHW class. He changed his training a couple years ago and dominated until Levan again. Which also means Levan also has no challenger right now so that keeps the SHW class boring lol. I'd like to see Devon keep training the way he is but add more bicep and even more side pressure and if he's up to it try one last time in 1-2 years before he really is too old. He made big gains in 2 years and he's still gaining. After that I think it's up the likes of Alex and Ermes and maybe Genadi.
He didnt dominate. He lost to Genadi. He beat 5 weeks preparation Ermes. He beat Injured 30% Denis. He beat one-sided Georgie. Tell me whom he really beat. PLS If you dont beat #1 you are "nothing", especially if you say in advance it will be 95-5 in your favor and it might be that Levan doesnt even get one round....
I really would prefer a Devon Davit 115kg match...however, forcing both athletes to cut to 105kg could even the playing field a little bit, especially for Devon, who has been used to pulling at a weight beyond 105 for a long time now. With him being already quite lean, he cannot cut 12kg without losing some muscle. Interesting! But these are the reasons I would hate being a professional athlete, so much stress on the body and worrying about health and joints.
Well we all know how 115kg would go. Devon defeated almost everyone at 120. 5kg is just a small water cut, Devon would literally destroy davit at 115, now at 105 it will be interesting. Still favoring devon
You always bring up special treatment for Devin not defending his heavy weight title for all this time. Nobody has challenged him for it, so how can he defend it???
Did he keep some titles etc. while he was competing in SWH? If so, this shouldnt be allowed, because it would take the opportunity of others to get the title. It would be similar to Denis holding the hammer without competing. You cant have it both ways. If you re-enter the division you should re-gain your title. Also remember Levan, they removed Levan from the ranking without competition.. consistency.
@@ARMWRESTLINGNEWZ yes now, but the last year nobody had challenged him for the title. If there is no challenge, then there’s no special treatment for him keeping it without defending it
Levan without the roids could have never gotten to Devons level period. Let alone at Devins age. If this sport wants to climb, they need to drop the "defeat" the mountain mantra because all the shit people are taking changes the game. Prior to the match Levan was even stating his tes/roid and yatayata.. imho John/Devon will always be the goats, because steroids have changed the game. Guess we got a goat among steroid users to, Levon and Dennis... This is why even Dennis's heart was with Devon and his brain was with Devon.. To continue the climb in this sport there should be regulations, period.
This devon defend the 115 argument is nonsense. What challenger has been offered? Engin has not publicly offered a match and devon beat #2 and #3. Where is the contender?
@viktore69 he said he wasn't ready for mmt I didn't see him publicly challenge devon right at 115 but maybe I missed it. Regardless why would Ivan pull and not pull #2 or #3? So devon has no challengers.
DOES he hold multiple title without having compete for 1-2 years? if yes, WHY should that be possible, especially if you delete Levan from the rankings and also complain about Denis and his hammer? You would take the opportunities of others to gain the title just because you think you should go SHW. Devon should LOSE the titles and must RE-GAIN the titles if he changes division.
John lost in pulling John. It won’t affect viewership so much anyways, only in the long run as word of mouth about the doco won’t spread as much than if he had won.
