I think the big point everyone is looking over is not if the song was AI or not, but it’s the fact that we QUESTION if it is. Which means AI is truly at a scary place right now

​most ghostwriters give up all rights to the words so on insider info when people say drake is writing songs for other people he really has verses (he didn't pen) which he purchased that he owns outright(publishing and all) and passes it to the next person as if it was his. So many people don't know that slick side of his operation, on which he even gets publishing on a verse he purchased outright. When you ghost write and sell a verse you give up all rights and sign your publishing away with everything else attached to that verse. Some ghosts even sign NDA's while giving up all rights! Real music writers are credited and own the publishing like a Jimmy Jam and etc. This is where we are now in hip hop where the biggest rapper in the world is just memorizing while the culture is okay with it? Kendrick has is work cut out for him because Drake has rap diss verses at his disposal. Ghosts now can write verses spit them with ai voice changers (as drake) and he picks them up rerecord and boom. When I first heard the leak, I automatically thought Drakes ghostwriters (Mathew Samuels and Noel Cadastre) cloned his verse and leaked it, then had Drake actually record the final version, mastered it and officially release it.

As someone who has been testing out AI music since spring of last year you don't even need to pay for a website to do ai cloning. If you have no coding experience there are people who have made google collabs (online programming software) that has trained models. If you now a bit of programming you can create your own and/or train your own voice model very easily. Since Universal has access to all the songs and stems of these artists I find it hard to believe that they wouldn't have extremely HQ AI models much better than any consumer level ones out there. They can train an AI with the Studio Quality vocal stems from every Drake (or insert artist) song they had ever made. They wouldn't even need to collab with google to get much better results than us average artists/consumers, just pay a freelance programer a couple bucks and the process is entirely automated. The fact that they *may* have a partnership with google is even scarier cause they will have access to all the cutting edge google technology and software regarding AI and AI cloning. It only gets better from here.
