Re: Nina, could you add April's ghost to your household and then tell her to fix Nina? Otherwise, the only thing I can think of is is cheating one of your sims Robotic skills so that you can fix her and then cheating them away again.

i think it is possible to combine two of the ideas that I've seen in the comments. You can add April to the household and make her repair Nina. Cay is so impressed by this that it influence his lifelong goal to become an engineer. So we can save Nina and influence Cay at the same time. Then its Nina's survival that inspires Cay, not her death. Two birds, one stone.

Since Cay is going to be an engineer, maybe when he grows up, he learns how important Nina was to the Bell family and creates a replacement to give to Tinker, and Faye could write a book about Nina and her life. Oh wow thanks for the likes guys

when it comes to Nina, what i'd probably do in your situation is straight-up cheat someone's handiness skill to max to fix her, and then just cheat it back down after. that's completely warranted imo considering that if the game was functioning properly, she'd be alive

You could try pausing the game and then reset Nina and teleport her whilst still paused. That way you might be quick enough.

Hi so just commenting again to save Nina since she died because the Sims was being the Sims. Some of the suggestions I saw here in the comments: 1. Reset her, immediately pause and then teleport her into the lot (someone said it worked for them) 2. Add Aprils ghost to the household, make her fix Nina 3. Just cheat someone’s robotics skill to max, fix her and cheat it back down. (Probably the easiest)

I would love for Cay to be the heir, I feel like we haven’t had a male heir in FOREVER, so it’d be fun to switch things up!

I agree it is sad to loose Nina, but maybe it was her time. She lost her "mum" she got heartbroken twice and could not get over it, so she wait until Cay grew up to "go". But it could be Cay's goal to re-create her, and Fay's goal to revenge Nina from Vlad and tell her story! 😅

There is actually a way to save a robot that's off the lot. You need to travel to a different lot with another sim and let the robot take care of themself for a while, and they should be fine when you come back

It’s sad that Nina died bc the game wouldn’t let you repair her since she was off-lot, but I’d be interested to see how the Bell family evolves without her. If anything, Cay could make another Servo once he’s old enough and makes Nina 2.0

After reloading, during the "stuck glitched phase" of Nina you can try to travel somewhere else with either Nina or with either some1 else. Then invite Nina over to that part of the world. Maybe it helps to "unstuck" her and prevents the damage that lead to her death.

Let Nina die. And then create a sim body for her and “transfer” her consciousness and memories into it. Nina lives on and gets to experience life as a human!

You just needed to cheat Nina’s durability to 100%. I often shift-click and fill needs if my Sims are out and about and I see a broken-down Sim. Nina is unrecoverable unless you roll back. You cannot resurrect a Servo. They disappear from the relationship panel, as you noticed. They have no ghosts.

Cheat Cay's skill so he can save Nina and then turn it back down? Or if that isn't possible than someone else's skill. The story could be that April helped Cay repair Nina, and that experience was so inspiring for him that he decided to dedicate his life to engineering!

A robot doing fashion is wild bc she could use ai and scan whats "trendy" and literally know most up to date in fashions at all times.

Revert to the previous save I think you can use the Scumbumbo's Teleport Any Sim to move her inside. You just place the statue on the lot (you can find it in the kitchen clutter menu in sort by room), click on it, and select Nina from the menu. Then you should be able to call a repair person or cheat someone's skill to fix her. Good Luck!

You should have Nina go on a quest to “magically” become human. You can make her a human sim with pigtails and a pink dress and then she can live and age with the family like it’s been her wish to all along 🥲

The mid life criss just hit my sim she finally married her childhood crush and then 3 of the midlife tasks have her: meet 6 new Sims Kiss 3 different Sims Have woohoo with a new SIM (tried to woohoo her new wife and it didn't count) my game is actively trying to get my loyal SIM to cheat on her 12 hour old marriage 😂😅

So just an Idea since the glitch that the repair person didn’t fix Nina could be because she wasn’t on the lot you could just try travelling with her (if possible) or another sim and try bringing her to the lot. That way she for sure would be on the lot and you could call the repair person from there. I think that could help with the glitch being fixed. Otherwise I do have to say I really liked Nina but I think it also fits in with the nightmare part of the nightmare legacy challenge that that would just randomly happen 😂 I also think the storyline a few other people suggested is really cool with cay kind of having this as his motivation to become an engineer and some day we could have Nina 2.0 or a Nino and make it a ‚male‘ robot with the name being in honour of Nina

Idea for how to save Nina: 1- Make a robotic club with only people who have the robotic skill, and the only activity is do robotics/repair robots. 2- Call for a club meeting 3- Wait and hope (I do not own the university pack, so I don't know if it will work. But It certainly is worth a try!)

kayla, i agree with adding April's ghost to your household to fix Nina! it wouldn't be *too* cheaty, since you aren't cheating the skill at all and she's family so it isn't like she wouldn't be down to move back in. then just move her back out again after Nina is saved

Maybe the name manifested the intolerance to lactose or maybe they identify with it so deeply they changed their name? They are also very difficult to be around. (intolerable) - Sensy(/Sensi) Bell: as someone suggested to my comment previously, they could be a paranormal investigator as they have good senses for the supernatural. (sensible) -Stay Bell, a horse lover sim would probably name their child like this. (stable) Or Hay Bell. - Beara Bell (bearable) - Sylla Bell (syllable) (apologies if something is not making sense, English is not my native language)

If you've got a high level Spellcaster with Necrocall and Dedeathify you might be able to bring Nina back. On their own, Servos in TS4 don't have souls so they won't return when they die. No haunting or anything, but Necrocall bypasses this if memory serves Honestly I like the idea of calling Stanley's various versions to fix some issues

you can use mc command center to teleport Nina to a sim on the lot to get the repairman involved. Put a sim on the lot -> click them -> mc command center -> sim commands -> teleport commands -> teleport lot sim to sim

I vote to save Nina at all costs, no matter what needs to be done. I know all of your hard work of the episode would be gone, but you could go back to a point before you last saved (when it was actively happening) where she is fine. She’s honestly one of my favorite characters in the whole series. I started balling when I saw her urn appear.

Build a small box around her to shield from the rain. Add April to household to fix her or if putting a box with a roof over her will help enough to allow her to self repair

T.O.O.L. mod and move her inside ASAP. Tool by twisted mex. In live mode, pause. Shift click Nina and pick T.O.O.L. in red and then move with alt+click into the inside of the house.

Why didn't you just cheat her needs? Another option is to get a spellcaster to summon her ghost and dedeadify her

I had the same thinh happend to my servo and sims didn't have the skill to repair servo, I found that the only option to save servo was to travel to another lot without the servo just for 1 second, in that time game will be "taking care" of the sims at home, so when you teavel to home lot servo should be in another place on the home lot, probably in the place when repair person can repair them

I would honestly cheat one of the sims on the lot into max robotic fixing skill, Save nina and then remove it. It was a glitch. It was NOT natural game play and there was absolutely no other intervention you could take. That sucks. Nina didn't deserve that! I would 1000000% cheat the skill save Nina and then remove it. Nina can't go out like that :(

I'd add April's ghost to the household to fix Nina and then remove her again or cheating the robotics skill enough so that someone else can fix her and then change it back. Those are the only two things that I can think of to do. Nina can't go out like that 😭😭

Titanano cotrol other sims in curseforge. It says its out of date but it should still work as a one time thing. You can take control of tech and then make them fix her.

I like Faye, but it's been a while since we've had a male legacy heir. So, I think Cay would be my vote. Spoilers: Also, according to nightmare legacy history, I think it's only fair to let what happened stay as it is. Cay can build us a new robot when he gets older.

I say break the laws of the universe for Nina! She does so much, she deserves happiness! No other servo could compare!!! On how to save her, did you try teleporting her into the house, and fixing her from there? After that, I'd try calling the repair tech, cheating robotics skill, adding April's ghost to household...in dire circumstances, one could even try loading an earlier save and replaying the day in a time-loop type scenario - anything for our dear sweet Nina!!!

hi, simsie! re: nina, I HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME! with ui cheats extension, you can made nina's needs good(all 1005) and make her go inside REALLY fast or teleport her inside the house, have her run inside then fix her needs. rain makes robots durability go down, if you just have her run with good durability robot will be fine!

Faye should become a bard. It ties into her name, she got a violin for Winterfest, and she kept trying to dance in the middle of the night. She could go into the acting or entertainer career and live in a little woodland cottage!

Oh my gosh, no. No. Nina was doing so good. She was so happy hanging out with the family after dumping Vlad. This can't be happening. The game glitched so bad on this! You should definitely get to fix it!

Just thinking, if you don't want to cheat you can, entirely though in-game mechanics, summon April, invite her to join the household, have her fix Nina and then have her leave. Having a ghost in the household bin doesn't break the regular ghost mechanics - trust me, I know from my own gameplay. You're only problem may be if it doesn't stop raining. If you do try TOOL keep in mind you may have to force reset Nina once or twice to get her to teleport with it, but I've never had it fully fail.

You can travel with Nina to another lot, where it’s not raining or teleport her in the house (can also be done with teleporter mod because the mod completely forces them no matter what they are doing). Please save Nina!!

When the repair technician comes, cheat to make them selectable and use them to fix Nina, then make them unselectable again. I've done this when the service Sims glitch and say theres nothing for them to do.
