I love hearing these stories from these old timers!.. I also heard a word I haven't heard for a while.. a word they consider dangerous for children these days.. IMAGINATION!? 😇👍❤️

This reminds me of the story where it was a big fire that started engulfing this small community and the fire trucks came out and was trying to save what they could and it was this one house where the fire seemed to just stop so many feet away from this house...all around the house it was like the fire hD been stomped out so many feet away from this house...At first the crew was baffled by this because the surrounding houses burned....come to find out later the occupants that lived in the house was a praying family..so when the brush fire started the elder of the family said they prayed for protection around their home in Jesus name..and well there prayers were answered.

I remember as a child listening to stories on the radio with my grandmother. No T.V. Just our imagination. Great storytelling...

Paranormal Fires aren't as unusual as people think, 🔥 👻 it's very likely that a previous Cabin on that site had caught fire, or been set on fire and you were seeing that "Ghost Fire" that disappeared as you got to the existing Cabin, did you smell the smoke and feel any heat as you approached?

wow! I went through something very similar. myself and a friend. And as we got closer it got dimmer and when we got there, there was no light. It was about five years ago and it still haunts me today

That watched feeling is real. I was a toddler dancing around my bedroom quietly because I didn't go to bed like my Mom told me to. Then I looked at my inaccessible 2nd story window and saw what looked like two face shaped silhouettes cut out of black paper. I went to look closer, and the far one lit up showing a clownish man without makeup looking straight out, making silly faces. then I looked up and saw a man looking down at me with wide eyed and opened mouth fascination. They were both inside the silhouettes. I ran to my bed and hid under the covers. When I got the nerve to look again, they were gone. That's the clearest childhood memory I have to this day. And I'd love to hear if anyone else has seen such a thing?

I find it funny that they made sure to take their canteens. If their friend was in a cabin on fire, they wouldn't have bothered with a canteen. They would have run to help their friend.

It was just me.

Thats an erie feeling I get it sometimes something watching or following.Its a slight variance or shift in the sound around you.Even and especially in silence some kind of shift thats not natural.Watching mountain men the 1 guy has the dogs and ppl pay him to chase Mountain lions or bob cats off farm land.He was out hunting tracking an elk was way far from his truck made the kill hes by himself no dogs but now its dusk so he quarters the animal hides some in a tree makes a fire and beds down for the night now luck the camera man is there and its pitch dark really no moonlight hes talkin to the camera guy and maybe 40 yrds out you just hear CRACK LOUD LIKE A 5 inch thick tree branch just got snapped off.He jumps says what the hell was that.The camera guy dismisses it as just a old branch breakin he says aint no branch like that breaking itself hand on is sidearm his eyes narrowed and he layed back down keeping his hand on gun.Now there was something big out there that was stealthy as a foxJust didnt fit the scenario.I mean maybe A 250 lb man standing on a branch to break it.If it was a bear out there in that much silence 40 yrds out you would still hear more youd hear any animal that big walking or breathing 40 yrds away in pitch silence.I belive he was being stalked by a bigfoot or something out of this world and his reaction said the same.The fire the 2 men and the being watching them knowing there was 2 men w fire and a firearm.Was the only thing saved him he slept Light and at first light he was outta there.I will never camp or go farther than keeping a road or house or someone within sight or hearing without a gun ever again.A word of good advice you shouldn't either There are things goin on in this world now days that cant be explained.
