To be fair, for hype reasons, it’s actually good to underestimate how much you’ll make. It always sounds better to have hit double your small goal than half your big goal. People love the stretch goals

I only caught the last 10 minutes of this stream because I was working, but I am amazed by the amount of money we all raised (I also donated) and the love and support the people of palestine have been shown. It brings me a lot of hope. Also thank you for uploading this highlight, I finally understand why Karina thanked Julia's mom for the blender at the end. I had no idea what she was talking about.

It’s funny how subtle the edit is, yet somehow my brain can now instantly recognize the specific cadence of those falling cans…

I'm glad you're spreading this around! I think it's important to have joy and levity and hope and community in this time, because a lot of people feel hopeless. But it's not hopeless. There are so so many people STILL working hard to make things better and the least we can do is support them. And sometimes that means doing funny little bits, goofs and gags to remind people to support Palestinian medical workers 🫶🏾
