beautiful .. just beautiful .. just the right lilt in that gorgeous jazz-waltze. I think I prefer flugel horn 2 trumpet. And wot can one say of "Gentleman Jim" may he now rest in peace. Now back 2 study 4 me😂🤣😂
fortunately for all of us there is a music teacher in a place called Wollongong NSW who is tutoring his students in these styles, one has a quiet chuckle when you see these young people play with maturity beyond their years
Don't worry, TONS and TONS of people like this around today. You can literally get a college degree in this now and come out playing like the greats. I hope this information completely erases your worries.
lambdaman The autocorrect messed my comment. Yes I live sadly far from where gathering to play music is natural as drinking water. And I hate it cause I see there are hundreds of acts in so many cities in places like the U.S. I’m a fish surviving in a seemingly endless field of grass.
@@javiceres Yeah you'd be surprised at how many people are keeping this tradition alive. There is a weird duality today though because this style of jazz (pre-fusion) is definitely archaic nowadays, so people playing in this style are playing a 'pastiche'. I'm not saying that as a bad thing at all, I'm personally not that big into what jazz became after the late 50s/early 60s, so I'm definitely stuck in a time capsule when it comes to jazz!
