Disgraceful. Hasn't even won Champions league, hasn't even win the prem on his way. He couldnt even Bench his french teammates but you already calling him one of the greatest? Put some respect on some of the best CBs that came and left and won trophies. Calling a player the greatest without winning anything. Dead standards.
I absolutely love this man. He has no weakness in his game; Pace, elite reading of the game, elite composure, absolutely class on the ball, height, commanding... he's got it all. Generational CB, what a gift. Cherry on the cake is he supported us as a kid, just wow.
Great interview!! Excellent to see how much his english has developed this year! Need to get his contract sorted ASAP because hes a key cog in this current and future Arsenal
@@degars6383 Big Gabi was notoriously bad in English too. That proved the commitment our players have. You don’t learn the language if you’re not willing to stay for a long term
Saliba has that "Rambo"/"Rocky" (Sylvester Stallone) kind of dominant badass voice. He once famously crossed the road without looking both ways in France. He ran over a car.
What a lad.. Top top layer we have here at Arsenal.. The entire team is full of some top talents. Saliba, Saka, Martinelli, Pattino & Balogun on loan, Smith Rowe, Odegaard, Zinchenko, Jesus, Gabriel, White, Ramsdale, Partey, Trossard just wow on how things can quickly turn.. Arsenal really have a very good squad, a couple of top additions and this could be one of the best squads in Europe next season..
I believe him. Especially the midfielder part. The way he's so composed on the ball, straight away you'll just know that he probably was a midfielder perhaps the anchor man.
Very good interview, well done to the interviewer for managing to speak so clearly so someone who's still getting comfortable with English can fully understand him, but without sounding like he's speaking to a toddler or a mentally challenged person. That's not necessarily an easy balance to strike and still be able to get such good and insightful answers.
Best thing Arteta did was send Saliba back to France. He was a young guy, couldn't speak the language. He also recently lost his mother. Going back to France, where he was with friends snd family, helped him mature and grow in confidence. At the time Arteta was being heavily criticized.
