I was scrolling down and I came across this song .I have scars and hurts but I know the lord will never leave me .and with the storms it has only made me stronger. My faith in the lord means a lot to me .😊
As one that has been through years of storms, I praise Jesus for them. If not for the storms, I would never realize how merciful God can be and how He can lead you through the storms. If you never have storms, you do not appreciate His goodness. He has His reasons, maybe to help someone else going through the same storms
There are so many people in this world who need to hear this song, It reminds me of when the disciples and Jesus were in that boat out on the lake and a storm came up the disciples being afraid woke Jesus up. I wonder when we know Jesus is right there with us do we have the faith to stand firm in His Word.

Thank God I've learned to take the storms of my life to soar. After being defeated by my own negative words I got tired and fed up so I now begin to speak life to my body. When I see lack I replenish by declaring abundance! When I feel pain and hurt I declare that I am healed. When I feel troubled I put my hand over my heart and thank God for peace. And God never failed me yet.

The Lord has stood by me in the midst of my trials and tribulations. In the midst of a collapsed basement wall that insurance did not cover and a rare disease that has left me in severe pain, on disability and taking chemo for over 6 years the good Lord has stood by me. The Lord has certainly been good to me.

Dhorie, don't give up, I know what it feels like to be so down that you can't breathe. Jesus is there with you, even if you cannot feel Him, he will give you peace. Sometimes God calms the storm & sometimes God calms us during the storm, but we come out better in the end. I am going through one of the most difficult times I have ever been in, Sometimes I want to give in, but God sends songs like this and brings me up. Please know you are loved and don't give up.
Dhorie, Please know how much God loves you! Jesus will calm the storm if you ask Him too. no parent who lovestheir child would not want to hold them in their arms when they are hurting. Run to Jesus open arms....be loved and be healed! Im bipolar myself and deal with depression, thoughts and feelings seem so real 2@ that time. But if I just hang on, those feelings go away! it may feel like Friday but Sundays on the way!!!!! Praise God!!!!

Feelings of suicide and depression are brought in by evil spirits who want to take you to hell - CHRIST is our saviour from eternal damnation . Believe me , I was there. Now, in CHRIST , I am happily married to the most wonderful man on this earth and have two beautiful children both born against medical opposition. They are healthy and intelligent and are a living testimony to GOD’s omnipotence . Have faith, live life, there are many beautiful surprises for you in the FATHER’s love for you by CHRIST. My storms has been very hard to get thru maybe harder then most but past 3 yrs I gave it to God and i kelp on fighting till friday I stress was gone thank god for prayer he answers

I just saw this and decided to see if some one else's storms were calmed by my Lord's mercy & grace.I am a sinner saved by grace and my storms are nothing compared to some.I pray that he continues to forgive me and allow Him to be my hiding place
Jesus! what a ministration? An eye opening song in the spiritual realm to know that it takes sometimes for a storm to come as a test one's faith knowing that somewhere behind the clouds, a new day really begins and it will be beter thean the past.
sometimes it really takes a storm for us to realize that jesus is our hiding place. He is the only one who we can get true happiness and shelter from in our time of emotional and physical disasters. Add the others as well. jesus is all we need to be satisfied.
I LOVE this song - it so helped me through a really tough time in my life. I sang it at church often a few years ago, but my tape was destroyed.
