She will always cherish this song. After her daddy passes, she can still look up this song and hear him singing and she got to sing with him. That folks, is something money cannot buy.
100% true. My grandpa passed in aug of 20 and he had his own local band and had cds made of his original songs and some from other artists but him singing and now that hes gone im beyond thankful to be able to look him up on here or play his cds anytime i want. He was my best friend and raised me for the most part so we were extremely close and no amount of money will ever even come close to the memory or treasures in his music
The look in his eyes at her. Hes one proud daddy. Also the look on her moms face before the song starts. The look of proud parents. She has such a beautiful voice and she's gonna go far. I listened to Travis my whole life now got my kids listening. What a great family.
TRAVIS....one of the great voices of our time...just never received the recognition he deserved.......lets hope they treat his beautiful daughter fairly
I've listened to country my whole life. But there's always one you dont hear until today. I've played this song as many times as you can in a 24 hr day. The relationship I'm in right now is what showed me the definition of this song. True loves nearly impossible to find priceless. If you do you're lucky and better cherish them because in the blink of an eye, "love just ain't enough" . Amen!
Travis, I know the chances of you reading this post are slim, but I will say it anyways. I will never forget the day that I first saw this video of you and your lovely daughter singing together. For no apparent reason I had a rush of emotions come over me and bring back feelings and memories that I thought were buried in a lost 9 year old little girl that had lost her father too young and too soon. There is something in your eyes and the way you lovingly looked at Tyler that reminded me of how my father use to look at me and reminded of when I use to be his little girl and how much he loved me. It also helped I'm sure that you favor my father quite a bit. Up until I saw your video I was numb and couldn't remember him, could feel his presence or remember his face (other than pictures). I want to sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing something back to me that I was afraid was lost forever. As silly as this sounds, you gave me back my father and have allowed me to remember being his daughter. A thousand words could not explain how much I appreciate that and am grateful to you and your daughter for doing that for me. ~God Bless, Ricca

You said THAT RIGHT. He is 1 fine looking man. When I was growing up or grown up. I use to by everything Travis Tritt and Marty Stewert. There both still great singers.
True love is rare.. People will put you through hell because of there own reasons and tell you to deal with it but what they don't reason along the way and the more bs you figure out love is walking out the door.. Find you someone who knows your value right off the bat and wants to stand right next to you to fight the world.. I believe in partnership and I know that it will make a relationship more solid..
Travis is such a talented artist and his daughter is right there with him!! This song is just so beautiful crafted and he and his daughter perform it so well!!
I think, in my opinion, the best part of this song is how Travis seemed to dial it back on his own voice to help showcase how great his daughter is, and that my internet friends is love
This was a dad/daughter moment, I LOVED THE VIDEO! Make me wish I still had my dad, my dad died almost 2 years ago, a year and a half ago at the early age of 62.
ScottysWife I agree with you and I too loved this video. My Father passed away December 21, 2014. At the age of 63. He was a Vietnam Navy Veteran laid to rest with honors. We miss him dearly. The pain of your loss never heals. We feel it everyday. We will remember the good times and fond memories we shared. I'm grateful for his gift of life that my Mother and he so loving created together. Plus by the grace of God, my two beautiful Daughters. I'm proud to have called this man not only my Father, but also my best friend. We will miss him dearly. So.. In his Memory.. My Mother and I dedicate Travis Tritt "anymore/Tell me I was dreaming " complete Sequel to my Father and her Husband and everyone who has lost or trying to stand beside a good man or woman no matter what it takes to keep their memory alive. P.S. Thanks Travis Tritt and crew for all the life lessons and truly amazing journey in the music that we call our life and our memories. Why am I just now hearing this song. My goodness Travis Your daughter Tyler is by far one of the best vocist there is. And she is 21 now. I've played your music in clubs across the country for years,no longer drum but did just buy new tamas and Alesis electronics, just to jam at home teaching my granddaughter, my daughter is a drummer also. That song me and my wife keep listening to over & over, radio needs to be playing that song now. To me and several others we thougt was a new song, and headed to #1 I believe it still can. Great medley, hook line, the words are so relateable. Your still the man & your daughter has an incredible voice. Looking for more now. Surely she has a deal. She's to good not to. Yall are both blessed and you should no why god has put you both on this earth, incredible.😎🎼🎵🎶🎵🎵🥁🥁🥁🙏🙏

Now I don't wanna lose you But I don't wanna use you Just to have somebody by my side And I don't wanna hate you I don't wanna take you But I don't wanna be the one to cry And that don't really matter to anyone, anymore But like a fool I keep losing my place And I keep seeing you walk through that door But there's a danger in loving somebody too much And it's sad when you know it's your heart you can't trust There's a reason why people don't stay where they are Baby sometimes love just ain't enough Now I could never change you And I don't wanna blame you Baby you don't have to take the fall Yes I may have hurt you But I did not desert you Maybe I just want to have it all It makes a sound like thunder, it makes me feel like rain And like a fool who will never see the truth I keep thinking something's gonna change But there's a danger in loving somebody too much And it's sad when you know it's your heart you can't trust There's a reason why people don't stay where they are Baby sometimes love just ain't enough And there's no way home When it's late at night and you're all alone Are there things that you wanted to say And do you feel me beside you in your bed? There beside you, where I used to lay And there's a danger in loving somebody too much And it's sad when you know it's your heart they can't touch There's a reason why people don't stay who they are Baby sometimes love just ain't enough Baby sometimes love, it just ain't enough
I love Travis and now his daughter! My own daughter was raised on this kinda country, she knew all the words. Keep up the good work! We miss you Travis.
Sometimes no matter how much you love someone, if she doesn't feel contented to have you, she will make you feel useless and hopeless, and that is what destroys the whole system of love.
You can say what you want but if a man doesn't show her that he is there for her she will never be able to do anything to do what she is willing to do to be there forever
Omg I've loved Travis' music all my life he's been my music idol growing up in 35 now. And I can sing and always wanted to try cause of my deceased grandma. She's always loved my voice but hearing your daughter sing with that beautiful voice out brought tears to my eyes and I've never had that done before beautiful song y'all. How to hear her sing more. Love you Travis. Great music.
Finally got to hear them do this live in concert at the GA State Fair a few weeks ago. It was great. Tyler also came out before her dad came out to do his show & sang the National Anthem. She nailed it! That is not an easy song to do. She hit every note beautifully.
yeah, just watched it a few minutes ago. im sold, she's got the talent. FWIW I think it would do her some good to talk to Pam Tillis, who came up the daughter of a great singer in his own right. she turned out to be special as well ad her input could be invaluable to young Tyler. BTW she did knock the anthem out of the park, was very well done in the proper traditional manner that befits it.

I'm in my 30s and have been listening to your music my whole life. It has always been able to envelop me and show me that this heart can still feel. The first song that I can remember feeling was Anymore...hell that whole set of songs was amazing. I really wish country music would go back into the business of emotions again...thank you for your music it has been the driving force on how I view love.
Wow I would love to be able to sing a song like this with my daughter. I have lived in the mountains all my like I grew up playing and singing with family in church and writing my own Gospel songs. I really love this because I know when a song moves you and you can feel it. Singing music is a amazing feeling. Keep up the good work and God bless.
Travis I think that you and your daughter make a great duet team, and I always loved listening to your songs because you have so much meaning in them! Keep it up! Becky Ward
