Since its original release "Sometimes When We Touch" has been released by several different artists.

Emily, that was brilliant. You brought tears to an 82 year old's eyes. I had a 57 year love affair with an angel, so when I hear a song like yours, a tear or two is appropriate. I am in the land of the Beatles for a while, the place of my birth and many of your songs. I sing only of and for Jesus now, but for years I've looked in on you. I'm encouraged to see how well you've mastered the piano. You are truly a star. But the one thing I missed was your smile at the end of the song. I will forgive you just this once.

Hello Emily- when I hear you play this song, it reminds me of my own daughter who gave up playing the piano -a talent for music will never leave you -even when you are 90 yrs old- you will still have the ability to play and sing- and all the memories that go with each song -will follow you to your last breath. Jeez Louise. It always starts off like a simple song but the passion and feeling in the voice coupled with the powerful piano expression rippling out the delicate feelings of the song. always make an Emily song something special, that would be a tribute to the best of singers and producers. My god, I've never appreciated the word "Knees" so much in my life...this girl is not only stunningly beautiful, she is equally as talented, poised, humble. Does it get better than Emily? It wouldn't seem so. Such voice control is unparalleled. I have not heard better. She dances around those notes with such delicacy and is always with just the right amount of feelings. When she holds a note like when she gets to the word "knee" and holds it with such ease...I know of no adjectives or words that are enough to describe this sort of utterly amazing talent.

A gorgeous rendition. "For No One" ... "Winner Takes It All" and now "Sometimes When We Touch." My three fave interpretations. Your the master of gut wrenching tunes. Elvis's mix brought the final magic, to a great performance. Echo, reverb, compression a perfect match to the performance. If your on a touching song binge, maybe; "I'm Not In Love" by 10CC. Just a whimsy, not trying to cage you! Heavy overdub that one is. I bet you could simplify it and revive it. Thank you for this wonderful cut !! Bravo !!
