It's frustrating to hear the hosts berate the poor kid for not trusting the authorities. It's like they weren't even listening. 8 CPS "investigations" that went nowhere, he had friends in the medical community, and all the adopted kids had psychiatric problems so it's their word against his, a "pillar of the community". They should've been more understanding of the poor kid's jaded outlook because the authorities had let him down his whole life.

It seems like the dad built his whole life for the purpose of hiding who he was so he could do that to kids. Changed his name, became super religious, joined a youth center, made a good name so he could adopt, and then use social media and the internet to portray this nice story about how he helps those kids. It is crazy the lengths some people go to, building their entire lives around one horrific purpose

i feel for this kid, i was abused by my dad for years i told my teacher everything, i called some sort of protecting kids service but got scared and hung up before giving information. one day he was having my mom in chokehold and my mom called the police but the police wouldnt come. i was failed by everyone after 3 years abuse my mom finally left i was free from him. i was taken from school to go to full time therapy 2 years later. ive been in therapy for 10 years now and im still healing. recently i heard he is moving back close to our town. i immediatly started to find housing bc i dont feel safe in my own house (where he used to live with us). this man never faced any charges but tbh i never saw someone in my country being punished from child abuse (im not from usa)

People don't realize how evil the foster system truly is! This happens more than what people realize! Abuse is very common in foster homes! The people who were trying to help the kid clearly doesn't understand the basics of how the foster system works when investigations happen! CPS doesn't do a outstanding job or a good job at investigating crimes! Most of the time they talk to everyone and they still keep you there for days or weeks or even months in the home!The kid is right it's his word against his dad! If any kid sees this and you're going through a similar situation gather evidence and then report it .Evidence could be a recording or a video! or a picture! That's your best chance at getting help! Report it to the police directly or a trusted adult such as a teacher or principal! If all this fails go to a stranger such as someone in power like a restaurant manager or a church member!

I remember a case where an officer knocked on a motel room door, was let in by a guy who had a young girl in the back room. You could actually feel the rage in the officer. It's incredible how he controlled himself enough not to rip the guy into pieces. All I can say is, this piece of trash will not live long in prison.

CPS must be investigated and case workers must be held legally accountable. There are certain "mandatory reporters" within Texas, teachers, school counselors, doctors, etc, who can be held responsible for not reporting suspected abuse. The CPS case workers knew there was abuse and allegations of abuse and still returned children to this animal's care. Where is the Attorney General of Texas? Why is there no investigation? There must be legal recourse against the system for this abuse.

I grew up in the system in Nevada same thing happened well similar we all spoke nothing happened at all still to this day. They put us on meds for no reason but to gaslight us if we decided to speak. I watched young boys go to juvie for nothing at all literally. Nothing at all. Fabrications. I was i believe almost killed for talking. This is not bs it happens constantly in foster homes. He was only ten years older and was in charge of a whole house full of teens. He's now in prison for ten to life but for selerate things. Ron Moore continues to run NV homes for homeless youth.
