Olivia was done for as soon as she accepted his marriage proposal, you can’t accept a proposal right after you caught your partner lying to you. It feels like a distraction and a trap. Right after that point her husband started acting weird to her.

Ugh Malcolm is disgusting. I didn’t like Fraser being around 80 with a 16 year old. It seems like a predictable story. I guess it is predictable in the sense that it is an updated Flower’s In The Attic. But you see that once, personally, I didn’t want to see it again. It is just so much ick.

Honestly the father was more lovable and Charming it seems than his son because it's funny that the sun was attractive yet none of these women were willing to actually be with him yet that pretty young girl was willing to be with that old man and it wasn't for his money it seemed like she really did love him

The thing is, these aren't just ideas. These things happen in real life. Most people wouldn't like to believe that, but these kind of things have always been part of human society. The filmmakers and novelists simply remodel the stories they have heard / read.
