Lovely. The High School Musical version of coming out. Encouraging...but overly optimistic and misleading that this is how things work out for every kid who his puberty and goes "oh, wait a minute..." and decides oh I'll tell family and friends and everything will be wonderful. My advice to the fictional character is to wait it out til he gets out of the house and is on his own, then can surround himself with whom he chooses.

Dude what terrible friends. HE WAS BEING BLACKMAILED. And they still blame him for lying to them when they should blame Martin! What terrible friends honestly. Yeah it turned out well for Simon but what if he had been ended by someone in the class due to his orientation leaking.

This was sad and nice at the sametime. Having to hide true feelings is hard. Atleast he was able to be himself in the end.
