"Recieving gold medal tonight, and the recipients of the founders trophy, the 2024 Drum Corps International world champion, with the score of 99. 999.. THE BLUECOATS💙"
If you think this song is just _OK_, you must be listening on subpar headphones or speakers. So much nuance in the lows. The frequency separation is unbelievably articulate. So full of energy, yet so much musical space.
On the contrary, I adore it. The video is also absolutely extraordinary. I'm just saying that technical details are great, and sure they're important to a tiny subset of people (like me). But the "art" is all that matters.
There's no way you can say that the technical details aren't what's enhancing the pleasure of listening to this song, Manning Bartlett. On the contrary, if it were less technically sound, it's fairly clear that it would detract from the song.
I was really hoping that the beginning was just a trick to think that the animation was real, but then I saw the holes in the board.. man.. so much time.
Hum? It's a stop motion, isn't it? change a bit, take a picture, change a bit, take a picture. So it's animation, i guess. Animation doesn't mean it is digital :p
This song makes me think of my grandmother who past about a year ago in front of me. She is the first person I have ever lost. And I miss her dearly. And I thank her for being apart of many of my happiest memories.
Amazing video for an amazing song. I recently saw Son Lux perform it live, and it was like the song was too powerful for him. He's a quirky guy, and he looked like he was about to explode with energy when he sang 'This moment' with his eyes tightly shut and his clenched fists shaking... Clearly it had an impression on me and now I want to sing from the top of my lungs whenever I hear this song.
I saw their performance, several days ago, and it is still same unrealistic energy, for the first few seconds you cannot understand why Ryan is acting so strange, but then you get that steam of emotion, you want to scream with him
Found this song during my first ever trip on shrooms. Between the music and the visual artwork in the video it made my first trip the most memorable and magical I have ever had to date. So many amazing feelings and emotions. Thank you so much for the music and memories!
noize2040 i feel like they are trying to break into the mainstream indie genre and are doing so fantastically with this track, sadly with more people finding out about them they will probably become boring trying to meet the needs of a larger mainstream audience.
This moment changes everything The course of blood within your veins A stranger's form, your skeleton See the bones glow as they break free This moment changes everything This moment changes everything This moment changes everything The course of blood within your veins A stranger's form, your skeleton See the bones glow as they break free This moment changes everything This moment changes everything This moment changes everything This moment changes everything
My church performed this tonight with a double band setup and amazing lighting FX that matched the music video as they displayed it. I had goosebumps from how mind-blowing it was so I had to find this.
I cannot imagine how long the pins-and-string animation took. It looks so good and the proportions are so accurate!! Would have driven me crazy so props to them
Dan Stearns The moment is both birth and death, or "reincarnation", change through death into new life. In every moment "Change is everything" but this moment, of incarnation, "Changes Everything". I had hoped you had figured all that out on your own, but that's what I got out of the song and video, and it seems like what the talented artist is getting at.
Such a beautiful video like the amount of effort that they must have put into the drawings is unreal to me! Like literally this is what our generation needs when it comes to creativity like this is straight originality
