you really hit the nail with this one. (not rlly a vent bellow but it is a little personal) As a former gifted kid (who had to work hard but most people thought it was natural talent) this really hits home, cause at some point you see that all the trying doesnt really get you any special results. It just means things get to keep being as they are, and maybe that's not so great. So you stop trying so hard- and then you feel as if everything is slipping past your fingers and you desperately try to work yourself back into the grind but you can't cause you don't enjoy it anymore, so you do it as the comment says: getting into the flow state by force sometimes it helps to be exhausted cause then I don't have the energy to focus on any standards, on anything beyond the task needing to be done

I almost never talk on the internet. They did... There was this whole thing about it. Fall out boy, I liked them a lot before I had read the producer for son lux describe how it went down. Fall out boy basically changed nothing at all in Fourth of July (the ripped song...) which is sadly HOW I found this masterpiece. The music was the same... The creativity belongs to Son Lux++... Fall out boy, why would you have done that. It wasn't your creativity for which to recieve credit... Look it up. It was this whole thing.
