In life we have extremes, be it animal or climate. In attempting to multi-culturise and re design the base religion of country which is/was a predominately Christian country without debate, discussion or vote will upset a vast majority of people born in said country. Most will grumble and stay silent, some will offer a valid political response, some may be happy to multi culturise their country, some, however will see that their voice is not heard, not listened to and even ostracised as racist to raise a fair debate. This attitude toward folks who want to keep NZ, AU, GB, USA as Christian countries, who accept other religion and faiths but request that their home country remains Christian in values towards humans and animals. When a country takes in refugees, is it wrong to ask the rescued peoples to adopt or at least respect their saviour's values? Afterall we, as civilised folks will help anyone in need, regardless of colour, creed or religion or sexuality. Does this mean we need to integrate their philosophies into our centuries old society? I believe not. After all if a terrible fate affected the USA, NZ, AUS, UK and we needed to seek refugee status in the middle east, let’s say Saudi Arabia, would Saudi Arabia allow women to drive cars, women or men to drink as they please, homosexuals and lesbians to be accepted and safe from stoning.....I very much doubt it. This kind of twisted bias in the West creates unhappiness in indigineous folks who have obeyed their country's law, lore and tradition for centuries. It seems that Christian values can be trampled over, yet muslim values are steadfast and will overpower Christian countries' values. Why not keep the Chrisitan countries Christian, Islamic states/countries Islamic, and Hindu and Buddist conutries the same as the same for all smaller countries / religions? I learnt at an early age that oil and water do not mix. However, Oil and Water can create wonders with the internal combustion engine. Let's work as a team folks.
