Sarabjeet Singh Khalsa took oath as Member of Parliament in Lok Sabha on June 25. He won as an independent candidate from Faridkot, Punjab. Notably, Sarabjeet Singh is the son of Beant Singh, who assassinated former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.

Few facts about this MP 1. Not belonging to any party. Independent MP 2. He’s a shop owner with total assets 1 cr approx 3. No criminal case against him (look this LS profile 34%) 4. 10th pass His father had done crime not him. It’s wrong to label him. This exact attitude alienates somebody against the society. @@AarushParasharr Balasore, Odisha ka jo current MP hai wo ek normal Aadmi hai shayad ussay bhi neeche (financially). 2019 mein uske against saare bade naam they. Some of them spent 60cr, some spent 40 cr etc. But despite this, he won and public himself paid for his advt expenses; not much but paid. In 2024, he again won. There are certain charges against him some as old as 20 yrs (charges not framed till date). Ye to fir bhi clean hai. My point is that why to set a frame even before he is culprit? Rest time will tell

In democracy, people elect their leaders by voting them. He hasn't been hand picked by anyone, don't just blame Congress for giving ticket. It's the thinking of some people in Punjab that is making scary future of all of innocent Punjabis in India.
