Lucha Camina y Canta es una serie donde compartimos la creatividad y el arte del pueblo y como se puede convertir en una herramienta para la liberación. Iniciamos este año con esta sesion en vivo de Son Rompe Pera. Nacidos y criados en las afueras de la Ciudad de México, los hermanos Gama mantienen vivo el legado de la música de marimba que corre a través de su familia con su último proyecto, Son Rompe Pera. Si bien está firmemente arraigado en la tradición de este instrumento histórico, su nueva versión de este ícono folk desafía sus límites como nunca antes, trasladándolo al mundo garage/punk de los inadaptados urbanos.

We started this year with this live session of Son Rompe Pera. Born and raised on the outskirts of Mexico City, the Gama brothers keep alive the legacy of marimba music that runs through their family with their latest project, Son Rompe Pera. While firmly rooted in the tradition of this historic instrument, their new take on this folk icon challenges its limits like never before, bringing it into the garage/punk world of urban misfits.
