@@codydrapela8818 They are discontinuing Sonata in 2025 because it doesn't sell well I mean all sedans have just been dropping in sales but especially higher prices sedans. So they said they will just keep Elantra and drop Sonata. They already unveiled it in Seoul auto show (Hyundai is Korean car company not Japanese) but didn't bring it to New York auto show. Also they have multiple videos about all car models and one where they talk about all the newer car models and changes coming to global markets and US market and they don't mention Sonata once. Even Hyundai spokesperson when asked by some publication during unveiling of sonata about US plans they said they are still considering it but I highly doubt it. She just don't wanna say no even before the launch of the car just in case anything changes but if nothing major changes it's almost certain that we will never see any new Sonata models in US

@@hiravparekh8695 I’m new to Hyundai, but I should’ve known that it was Korean oops my bad. That’s crazy the head person of hyundai doesn’t think it’d sell in the US, I know I would buy one for sure and I’m sure a lot of other people would also, but I know people are starting families and just want more space hence why SUVs and trucks are taking over the market when it comes to people buying vehicles
