Another excellent review. Had some really good experiences at Sondela over the years. It still is a awesome resort and there is something for everyone.
Spot on ! I’ve camped twice at Sondela and it definitely tick all the boxes. As a downside I think is the dust during dry season, everything else is really good.
Thank you and much appreciation! We didn't find the campsite itself dusty, but the roads certainly were, and some of the cyclists came back with their lovely white shorts "dyed" a reddish brown! But you do have me thinking - we have just returned from an amazing, but incredibly dusty campsite - do I prefer camping in the dust or the mud? I think I'm going with dusty as it's easier to clean up. :)
Camped here a few times, generally very good. Was not overly impressed with how cramped some of the paved private ablution sites are and the private ablution facilities could have been a lot better. I prefer the general camp sites making use of the shared ablutions. Also, as per another comment, can be dusty during dryer times.
Agree with you 100% - when you're in a group with friends the more cramped paved sites are less of an issue, but if you're on own, a little more elbow room is nice :)
