Soneva Foundation Mangrove Restoration in Myanmar 

The Soneva Foundation engaged Worldview International Foundation to restore 600 hectares of mangrove forest in Myanmar. 1.5 million mangroves have been planted, completing the site in September 2022. In 2023 an additional 1 million mangroves and 400 hectares were added. The 2.5 million mangroves will mitigate 1.5 million tonnes of carbon. The project is registered under VERRA.
