We're Canadians, but my father served in the Royal Canadian Air Force during WW2. Dad was born in 1924 & passed away in 2009 at the age of 85. I was always so proud of him for serving. Thanks to ALL those who served in order that we may live free of persecution, but live in freedom.
My husband served in in Vietnam towards the end of that conflict. He lived a long healthy and good life. Served 3 missions for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. One as a young Elder and 2 as a senior missionary couple with me. He passed a way October 15, 2019 at the age of 69. Cause- non smoking lung cancer from being exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam.
We have goodly heroes today!! Look around!! I bet you can find at least one every day!! In either a small way or a large…it’s all important, the good that we can do!! And we can all just do our best, and appreciate the heroes of the world. They need and deserve our honor and support!!
I love heroes. They are very choice spirits who think of others before themselves. I try to do that. We have no time to be selfish!! No time….it is urgent that we choose to love one another, for UNITED WE STAND!! And divided we fall!. We must try our hardest not to divide, but to unite in common causes….and love ❤️ each other!!
