Amazing how this edit shows how Devola and Popola are seen in the game.. Their introductions, their strength of character and what eventually becomes of them until the song is only sung by one and then no more..
All versions of this song are amazing! My favourite soundtrack from Nier is Shadowlord's Castle Another Edit, all tracks from the Grimoire Noir Edition are great actually. I hope they add them into the game on pc as soundtrack mod.
You mean this one?ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-PZxLa03jZxA.html Sounds awesome indeed! Church organ music should be more used overall.
The intro and outro are my favorite in this version, the instrumental evokes a feeling of a dark, cold, unforgiving desert-scape in these sections. I see the Devola and Popola Androids from the Automata storyline leaving their observation sector from the Original Nier (Replicant/Gestalt,) timeline, making their way to where we eventually meet our tragic heroines of that game (Automata).
Great rendition, but it loses the timeless quality that the original had. In a sense it was stoic, and constant, almost like a mountain you would find out in the world. It was beautiful, had a vast scope, and would always stay as such regardless of humans or mortals. 1.22 version feels more in touch with itself and the present, but is also more depressed for it. Rather than side with nature or the beautiful aspect that nearly never change about it, it focuses on the emotion and tumult of being alive, sapient, and feeling the dread of existence.
