The Sección Femenina was the female branch of the Spanish Falange party of the JONS, and later of FET and the JONS. The Sección Femenina was constituted in Madrid in 1934, and came into operation for forty years, being dissolved after the death of Francisco Franco and the consequent dismantling of the dictatorial regime.
