To be honest, I feel like they should stop laughing whenever Jinkyung starts to sing. You can tell she practices the hardest trying to make up for what she lacks in. And probably hearing someone laugh about your efforts would make you lose your confidence. You can see that she started to regain confidence in the end as they were paying attention to her determination while singing the song. Jinkyung unnie jjang! I hope you'll get better in singing soon!

People keep criticizing somi because she cried in the show, saying that she needs to learn to accept criticism instead of crying. BUT she did not cry because the trainer criticize her singing, she cried because she failed to sing as practice, she had beeen practicing so hard and even sent the voice message to trainer at the late night, and you haters say she did not work hard? She just need to gain back her confidence to sing loudly, why can't haters leave her alone, she lost her confidence because of those netizens too, they keep criticizing her unique tone :( I really feel so sad and angry that they want every idol to be perfect, she is just a 16 year old girl that debuted one year ago....😢😢😢

I think she was scared that she was a disappointment. The anxiety of being judged is terrifyingly gut-wrenching. But she's so young, has so much time to practice and get better and better. Somi was just caught off guard but now she knows.

i was like somi when i had her age and believe me when someone teach me something and i make a mistake or dont get it right i become flustrated and start crying especialy when there is people looking at me . it is something that will go away while growing , she will become a kind hearted and sweet women who is very considerate .

Some people speak as if crying due to frustration is a bad thing for some reason. It's not as if she's making an excuse as to why she can't sing in front of the trainers, but she's genuinely frustrated at herself for not being able to nail it like she did on the night before. People need to stop saying things like "grow stronger" in a negative manner and that "superstars aren't allowed to cry" cuz guess what. All those idols who worked their asses off to get where they are cried countless times as well. None of them would have become superstars without crying and facing disappointment. She's a normal hard working human being. She's ALREADY growing a thicker skin and ALREADY improving as we see her in this show. Since her time in Twice to her time in IOI and now this show, she's come a long way. She is constantly working hard and improving herself while facing the obstacles along the way. Crying once or twice doesn't hurt. You cry and get back up to fight again. That's how it works. It's NORMAL and ALL IDOLS are NORMAL human beings. And don't start saying things like "oh but she should always act like an idol especially on broadcast" and "no crying during broadcast". Please, we learn to keep our emotions hidden as we grow older. She's only 16, she's still growing in that aspect. More than enough, she's trying the best that she can to become the Somi that everyone wants to see. Give her a chance and calm down.

I feel for Somi, it's really easy to slip into falsetto when a note is right at the top of your belt range.

It must be so hard for Somi. People criticizing her need to relax. She is 16! I'm not a singer but singing out loud in front of 30 (crew too) people must be very hard. Somi hasn't had it easy. From not getting into Twice, to being in IOI and them having to disband to doing this solo and after this having an uncertain future with her singing career. She still has a lot to learn and while it's very easy for people to say, I CAN'T believe she's crying, while they're sitting in a comfortable bed or chair - people should think more. She's so young. The other time when Somi cried in front of the vocal trainer in the other episode, I cried with her too. This time, i cried with her too. I don't stan her and she is not even my bias, I am not a very emotional person, so I rarely cry. I am surprised that I cried with Somi twice, I guess I can relate to her and I know how she feels. This is me with my piano practices. I was so good when I am alone practicing, but when my teacher is near or the examiner is near, i get so nervous and everything was so out of place. My teacher thought i didn't practice hard enough, and it makes me sad that no one can see all the hard work i put into it. Some is still young, I admire her courage and how hard she has worked.

jinkyung literally just made me cry. she is doing her absolute best, her pushing through with them laughing shows a lot. I personally wouldve cried to know I'm not doing all that well, but she was strong and she doesn't care what they think of her, shes just giving it her all and thats what is really special! she did great!

For everyone who DOESNT understand WHY SOMI was freaking crying (pls. dont cry Somi😢) Imagine this... 2 days from now, youre about to take a pyhsics test. You pulled all-nighters and studied like crazy because youre not one of those people who were 'gifted' academically. Youre confident about it then you go trala la la on the test. U recieve it the next day, you get an 'F'. An *F* . What will be your reaction? Wat emotion will you be experiencing? Now, add this? Your mom finds out you failed a test then scolds you for not doing you 'best'. *BEST* Of course, you'll cry right? If youre wondering how the 'mom' thingy is related to Somi, its wat u bashers are doing at her. U bash her because she wasnt 'accepting criticism'

I cried when somi did, because the coach sitting the nearest to her actually said that she could've done better. it reminded me of when I was in Band and for a month we had a replacement conductor who was really strict and everyone didn't liked how he conducted. He was also like the other coach here where they said 'he will make you cry because he'll make you play until you get it right' I really did and it was so traumatic for my social anxiety having ass because everyone in the room turned around looking at me. it didn't make it any better when the conductor was getting pissed. Just felt so sad for myself bc the coach consoled Somi and confirmed that she could've done better!! Also for Jin Young to console her, I died a little inside knowing that that's what I wish I had back then haha

y'all so serious about the members laughing at jinkyung. Like what sook said during yewon's birthday, the members of this season act like close friends than the season 1 where they were more of like a family. This is like how a best friend laugh when their friend is reporting on the front but still support them. Jinkyung is a comedian and her friends are not used to her being serious of course they will laugh. You will notice they even backed her up by singing with her. This is also a variety show and Jinkyung happens to be one of the members that greatly adds to the fun of the show together with Sook. Don't think badly of the other members because they really love jinkyung. At least, Jinkyung showed her improvement here and it was the best ♡

I feel for Somi. I think she's not a crying baby who never grows up like many people have judged her. She cried because she felt disappointed in herself. She practiced a lot yet the result didn't reach their expectation. She felt sad because she knew that she disappointed her vocal teacher, who she really cares. It's not wrong for someone to cry when s/he made a mistake as long as s/he can learn from it and being stronger than before.

i've been singing since i was like 9 and now im 14 so seeing somi like that really makes my heart hurt. I understand her fear of high notes, i barely sing songs with high notes because im scared my voice might crack, and the fear of being judged.
