For any ARMYs that don't know her, she is a famous folk Korean singer. She sang this song in a Traditional Korean way, which makes it so special. The original version is AMAZING and so is this version, in my opinion :)

Goosebumps. She just gave Spring Day and BTS the justice both deserves.

Her version feels like wanting to see and missing someone you'll never meet again. 5:14 "Just a little bit more.." feels like she's begging to let her meet that person although it is impossible. Almost there but still can't reach him.

It's my 1st time hearing this version of Spring Day and I cried. This is the best song of BTS and yet this is the best rendition I have ever heard.

I can proudly say, this was THE BEST Spring Day Cover, if I didn't stan BTS I would've guessed that this was an original song of hers. Amazing.

I've been thinking A girl only as old as Jungkook, with such an incredible voice, won a national competition at the age of 11, face no less pretty than that of an idol, instead of going to the normal, easier to be famous pop route, she chose to learn gugak and preserve her nation's heritage. How proud South Korea must be to have such a talented singer like her. Edit: I'm sorry for my ignorance. I've edited the genre from pansori to gugak. I assumed she was singing pansori because, in the interview section, BTS mentioned about pansori. In no way I assume that idol groups have it easier. I know idol trainees are practising very hard and even some didn't get to debut or debuted only for a short time. What I meant by famous was that pop genre (in this case k-pop group) usually has more fans both locally and internationally as supposed to other genres like k-hip-hop, k-band, or even traditional music. They appeared much more often on music shows, doing concert around the world, and usually deemed more 'sellable to the market' by agencies. Because of that, I respect her for taking the non-generic route and in a sense also preserve her nation's heritage. Hopes this clarifies my intention! Sorry if some wording isn't proper since English is my second language.

I wish there were subtitles to get the full epicness of her rendition, because she chose certain parts of the lyrics to emphasize. This! This was the performance of the night! She did not win the trophy but she made me realize why I Stan such a queen and why I respect her! Sohee did a wonderful job making Spring Day her own, with her wonderful singing of Pansori she made the song her own color and made the song feel alive! She did a wonderful job expressing the lyrics and a tremendous job expressing the emotions behind the lyrics. On an even sadder note spring day is for sewol ferry :( rest in peace to all those beautiful souls. And the family still have my comfort forever in there hearts. This was not a cover but truly Spring Day by Song Sohee!

For me, Song So Hee is the winner for this episode. She's done marvelous job singing Spring Day. You can really feel it with your heart and soul, that's how wonderful her singing is. It's so heartbreaking yet it's so beautiful.

If knowledgeable about the Sewol ferry tragedy, the original version of this song by BTS (which is great of course), and the traditional technique and style of "Pansori" (among the traditional music: 국악 Gugak) in Korea, you instantly understand that this performance of hers is considered as a masterpiece.
