@@hyuckryptic I like Thunderous but I also like noise music I guess 🤣 majority of upbeat pop music is noisy except for ballads of course but people like to feel superior by calling other groups music noise. Especially 4th gen music as if the previous gen’s weren’t just as noisy. I’ve been into K-pop since 2009 and it’s always been noisy. It’s only a K-pop thing cause only old people in the States would call music noisy. We like music that gets you up out your seat!

Thunderous is actually popular and a genuinely good song . I think the only reason it reaceived hate is probably coz it was released after gods menu . Coz gods menu was the shit - in terms of music , choreo , styling , concept , videography everything was well executed and fresh . It really cemented them as a grp and everyone shined (except poor lee know but he did get his due thid time ) . They were confident , good stage presence and with the aura of seasoned performers and they have only improved from their after .
The fact the people can apparently hate BOCA is not working in my brain. Also the lack of Side effects in this list is absolutely criminal!!! We need a part 2!!
NCT 127 is literally one of the groups that introduced me to k pop, especially all the song that people didn’t like-I loved. I never got why they hated them though, they were definitely different, but good nonetheless
My problem with hybe and bts's music in the past few years is the amount of autotune they are using . And i am sry the slander was deserved they were releasing generic ass music with bad english lyrics and making a lot of references to america but that felt weird for me , coz none of them where american , not born or brought up their so them making reference felt out of touch and trying too hard to appeal to american fans . And yes they must have made the american happy and it is one of the biggest music markets in the world but still felt weird to me . A huge reason why I liked them before was that their music was genuinely good , the early phases was kinda rough but eventually they found their style and they genuinely did realise a variety of differently sounding music and it was good with gr8 concepts and videos . I think the last comeback i genuinely enjoyed of their was fake love , from idol onwards it went downhill.I understand that using autotune and making it obvious is a genre of its own and it works for artist like travis scott . But i feel confused whether they are intentionally doing it as a part of the song or Just trying to enhance the vocals but is failing miserably as tweak their voices to a point where it unrecognisable like jimin sounds like he enhanced a helium balloon and v does not sound like that . And this is why the live performance sound so different from the official song. I know every company uses autotune but hybe is simply overdoing it . Compare the vocals of sme songs and its very different, we actually get to here their raw vocals . And its a shame coz i really like a lot of hybes music . This is not a isolated problem with hybe , i see a lot of jype artist do the same . I love skz and their music is good but the surotune annoys me sometimes but they seem o use it as a effect and most of the song is raw vocals but boy rhe autotune part gets on my nerves . Or maybe its just that i dont like autotune .
