It's nice to watch Dan talk about a song that "saved" him. The Wonder Years, specifically their song I Won't Say The Lord's Prayer, was the moments I decided to go seek mental health help. So much love for this guy and his band.

I was going and seek mental health help as well. The doctor was incompetent beyond all means and just made it much, much worse. I could barely escape getting institutionalized against my will. Now I can't trust any doctor or "specialist" anymore.

I woke up today feeling the most depressed I've felt in a while, and was thinking through how I care for myself through this, so it doesn't spiral out like it has before. Thankful this came at the right time. Have to take active participation in my happiness. Thanks man, looking forward to seeing you next month in Melb.

I heard that song for the first time the night my little brother OD'd (survived thanks to Narcan) I was listening to the song when I got the text. It made me realize I just was not keeping in touch with him and held myself accountable to at least let him know I'm there for him then on, and checking in on him.
