Keep going down the queen rabbit hole you will be amazed at the talent on display with queen. Freddie was the greatest frontman of all time. Queens music is timeless and will carry on forever R.I.P. FREDDIE WE MISS YOU WE HEAR YOU SINGING FROM HEAVEN!
I’ve been a Queen fan forever, Freddie the best frontman of a band , always had the crowds in the palm of his hand with his flamboyant performances, and Freddie Mercury vocals out of this world, I attended many live Queen concerts in the 70 s 80 s no auto tune in them days just pure genius and talent, one’s too check out Queen at Hammersmith Oden Uk 🇬🇧 with a song named ( White Queen) another at Wembley Stadium called ( Under Pressure )in 1986 , i actually attended this concert , great reaction thanks 🙏
Someone did auto tune on Freddie once a few years ago and it sounded horrible with auto tune. The more they auto tuned it the worse it sounded. It just goes to show you that you can't make perfection better.
This song became quite the crowd participation song for Queen. Freddie just has the crowd eating out of his hand as he stands up there directing 72,000 people in the audience. Somehow, they all just want to sing to him and with him, it is amazing. Thank you for your reaction.
It is amazing. Their concert in Rio was a two day concert that during those two days had over 1.5 million people there and was the largest paying audience in history at that time. Seeing an ocean of people as far as the eye could see, who didn't speak English, singing this song to Freddie is pure gold. At first he was afraid that they couldn't understand them. Then Brian started playing and they all started singing, in English and Freddie was surprised and loved it.
@@plother4242 I believe that Roger said that the Rio crowd was about 300,000 each night or over 1/2 million people in two shows. Do you have a source for your numbers? because I have been going off of Roger's statement so if you are right, I have been speaking in error.
Another beautiful song written by Freddie for Mary Austin who he was once engaged to, they remained best friends the rest of his life, he left her 75% of his royalties, his home and most of his fortune to Mary. Brian played so beautifully.
@@owenhunt Well I think Freddie is the only one who would actually know and never publicly said it outright. It really doesn't matter, some of his friends said he bisexual, like Mick Rock who saw Freddie with several women at Freddie's New York apartment when Freddie lived there in the early 80s, Mick said he didn't go in the bedroom with them of course, but, well you know, and in a interview not to long after Freddie died, Peter Freestone said Freddie would go with women, if a suitable man wasn't around, and if you had to put Freddie in a box he would be considered bisexual. So like Mick said, Freddie was a tortured man, Mick said, just like others as well, Freddie was never comfortable about his sexuality, he preferred men, but went with women at times. But as I said, Freddie is the only one who had the right to say his sexuality, and he really never said. It's speculation at this point. Freddie was a beautiful unique special human, and there will never be another like him.
@@deboraclark5791 I hear you. Leaving your estate to a female implies romantically he was straight. I'm guessing George Michael's estate went yo Anselmo and others, so romantically he would be gay. It looks to me like the gayness often increases over time.
@@owenhunt Freddie may have felt he couldn't go back once he as he said in BoRap he put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger. IDK, only Freddie knows. As you said, Freddie obviously loved Mary romantically.
All of the members of Queen loved their fans as much as the fans loved them. They would set out to make songs that the crowd to respond to singing it to them or the famous *stomp, stomp, Clap" of We will Rock you. You should do a reaction of Bohemian Rhapsody the movie. It will help you to understand the group and Freddie in particular. This group was a treasure that will never happen again. They were all very intelligent, Brian has a doctorate in astrophysics wrote things for NASA which is still used today, Rodger studied to be a dentist, John in engineering, Freddie did have some training in piano but no vocal training and he went to college for art. He had a four octave range and never fixed his teeth because he was afraid that it would change the way he sounded. If you couldn't tell, I am a huge Queen fan.
"He just seems like somebody who was himself. [...] But when he got on that stage, he let himself shine. [...] It was cool, calm vibes, and it seemed like it was straight from the heart." I'm impressed. You immediately understood who Freddie was and what he was about!!!!
LOVED your reaction..... SUGGESTIONS: "UNDER PRESSURE" LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM, 1986 "WHITE QUEEN" LIVE AT ODEON HAMMERSMITH, 1975 "YOU TAKE MY BREATH AWAY" LIVE AT HYDE PARK, 1976 "FAT BOTTOMED GIRLS" LIVE AT MILTON KEYNES BOWL, 1982 "INNUENDO" OFFICIAL MV (Considered the later counterpart to "Bohemian Rhapsody") "WHO WANTS TO LIVE FOREVER" LIVE AT WEMBLEY STADIUM - FRIDAY JULY 11, 1986 (I specified the date because there are TWO Wembley concerts: July 11 & July 12... For this song, July 11 is better.)
Thanks again for looking at another Queen song. The list which Marcie Bulsara Orcutt postet should keep you busy for a while. Queen's fanbase is a very loyal , devoted and passionate group of people. The 2 new generations of Queenies are following our footsteps , it's not just us old folks that lived through the 70s.😉 And if you PLEASE could do us a favor: Write down the names of the band members on a sheet of paper, it will help you make a connection. Freddie Mercury - piano and vocals (front man) Dr. Brian May - guitar and vocals John Deacon (Deaky) - bass guitar Roger Taylor - drums and vocals
What a beautiful love song, dedicated to the love of his life, Mary Austin. Amazing vocals by Freddie Mercury and the sweet guitar by Dr. Brian May PhD in astrophysics! What can I say, Brilliantly talented men! 😊
A little background. Freddy wrote this song for Mary the woman he'd dated prior to coming out. Even after he came out they remained close to point where Freddy said no one could ever replace Mary and when he passed he left majority of his empire to her including his house. She lives there still.
Yes to a Queen playlist. Yes - Freddie, the lead singer, was an interesting character. Quite unique. Multidimensional person. No longer with us, but always around in spirit. I was lucky enough to meet him, back in the day, and he still pays the occasional visit! Some of my favourite songs are from Queen's earlier catalogue. I highly recommend:: White Queen - Live at Hammersmith You Take My Breath Away - Live at Hyde Park Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen Official Video :-)
What a great song , so much Feeling so much heart and how great crowed controll he had , they are all with him .... that was Freddy , simpley magic and honest
Also you know M.j made a song with Freddy just studio version, but very good and it s real. They wanted to do it live also but didn t have the oportunity. 🥰 R.I.P Freddy & M.j two legends
Yet another respectful review, Queen are so great live, never bettered. Come on, at some point you have to review “Bohemian Rhapsody” official video. 😀
love this song, one of Freddies, very different from the studio version Brian transcribed it to the guitar but I think it works well and easier for the audience to join in
This Stadium (WEMBLEY) in England, is the stadium that DIMASH has Dreamed about having HIS OWN concert in since he was 11 years old!!!👍👍🥰 DIMASH, we hope that Dream Comes TRUE!!💖💖💖💖👍👍👍
If you can do a playlist for every think. It s easy to navigate. Queen is a legend. Please also listen from Freddy Mercury :" Freddy Mercury( Quenn) & Montsserat Cabella - Barcelona ...the most amazing song, a song made for our sports game in Europe🥰🥰🥰
you MUST dive into the whole Queen catalogue - - they have made more than 200 songs - are all four songwriters - # 1 hits - considered the best rockband in UK of all times with Beatles second and the Stones third. Freddies voice is non surpassed - and the band is a master of vocal harmonies in a time without autotune - or tapes backstage - - just music live and "dangerous" as Brian uses to say.Btw. I prefer their live performances - it is quite another "animal" and they do not try to achieve "copies" of the studioversions. If you do more Queen you will get 12000 subscribers.
Yes pls react to more Queen music. "Who Wants to Live Forever". "Bohemian Rhapsody", " The Show Must Go On" - also Dimash performs this one on The Singer competition. And many others.
