In the Zone is my fave album from Britney. She sounded so much like she was starting to really break out on her own. Blackout a second. And I absolutely love Mona Lisa and wish she would have gotten her way with that.

Honestly literally every album of Britney’s is gold. She doesn’t have a bad one, even Britney Jean has some bops despite its controversy. Don’t let me be the last to know is one of my favorite songs and the music video is so HOT. You mentioned the synths being very of the time and wow they are but god damn it I love it for that reason, it’s a little cheesy but so nostalgic. 😂 This whole album is just so iconic. I’ll never forget being out with the family and my parents buying this for my sister, once we got home we ran to her big pink bulky CD player and blasted it. Good memories 🥲
